The General Manager, David, went abovd and beyond to give the best price for my Honda Pilot, and was able to obtain a fiancing interest rate much better than my own Credit Union! I had a disappointing and brief negotiation experience with a salesman named Jeff H. at Coggin Honda of Fort Pierce. After doing my research on the trade-in value of a vehicle I was interested in, I prese with a salesman named Jeff H. at Coggin Honda of Fort Pierce. After doing my research on the trade-in value of a vehicle I was interested in, I presented a reasonable counteroffer. Instead of a constructive discussion, I was met with passive-aggressive remarks. Jeff seemed more focused on asserting that the dealership is backed by a Fortune 500 company and that my counter offer was completely too low rather than having a respectful conversation. He also claimed they "can’t afford to lose more than $500 on a vehicle," which felt contradictory and dismissive, as that was the only discount that was placed on the vehicle of interest. Asking for a little wiggle room on pricing apparently doesn’t sit well here—at least not with Jeff. I attempted to express my dissatisfaction to a sales manager, but unfortunately, that led nowhere. It seems that customer concerns aren’t taken seriously at this location. So if you're hoping for a professional and courteous buying experience, I suggest proceeding with caution—or looking elsewhere. More
