He was exceptionally knowledgable about the vehicles and took the time to show us the features of our 2011 Hyundai Sonata. His friendly, customer service oriented attitude made the buying experience a pleasure. There were no high pressure sales tactics, and he took the time to help us find the right vehicle for our needs - at a fair price. I will be sure to tell my friends and family to go see him first, if they are looking for a vehicle. Our experience with the finance manager was very easy, and pleasant. The Humes. More

Apparently Coggin is the exception to the rule. I purchased a used vehicle from Coggin recently, only to find out there was a heavily corroded brake line that did not last a week post-purchase. Fortunately i am capable of making repairs myself, but one who is not would have been extremely unfortunate. The repair cost would have been substantial if made by a facility, and numerous other issues have been found since that would not have escaped an inspection by a trained technician. The safe bet would be to find a shop that invests the time to seperate possible trouble vehicles, or at least ensure they are worth selling. For such a large auto group, I find my experience unacceptable. More

I was hassled with another Honda service and was very frustrated. This service dept is friendly, positive and helpful. So so happy we found them. I do not work for them or just giving a good review. My review is honest and I am thrilled to have found them. More
Poor communications, NONE, Vehicle NOT repaired. Took my daughters Honda in to repair a noise. Finally got a call back at 5:30pm advised vehicle need to stay over night, and I would be called by 9:30am next day. Right, no phone call by 9:30am, I finally received a call after 10am advising me that two engine supports needed to be replaced and there was a noise in the A/C compressor. I authorized repairs. Follow-up during the day produced no results, finally about 5:30pm I received a call stating vehicle was ready. After spending $1500, problem AS NOT repaired. Nest day I took car to an INDEPENDENT GARAGE and got problem resolved. More
Oil changeI Took my car in for an oil change. Had an appointment for 5:15 P.M. and showed up at 5:00. I was told that they were backed up and it would be a long w Took my car in for an oil change. Had an appointment for 5:15 P.M. and showed up at 5:00. I was told that they were backed up and it would be a long wait. O.K. Fine I was not in that big of a hurry. About 7:00 P.M. The service person tells me they have completed the oil change and recommended that I have my cabin air filter replaced for $60 because it was really dirty. I know this in fact was not true as I had replaced it with a genuine Honda filter in February for $20 in about 5 minutes time. I bring my two cars both of which I bought new in the past 3 years to the dealer for service knowing that I will pay extra but expecting better service and to be treated fairly. On top of the attempted $60 dollar fleecing, I was also told that if I wanted the complementary car wash (what I consider part of the $45 dollars I pay for the oil change) it would be at least another 45 minutes. This is not the first time I have been less than satisfied with the service at Coggin. My thought is a company does not treat a valued return customer this way if they wan't to keep them. I like Honda they make a great product, and I got a good deal on the cars when I bought them but the after the sale service seems to be hit or miss and lately it's more miss than hit. This type of thing really will have an impact on where my next car purchase is made. More
Service has been great since finding Jim Besemer I'd had some issues over the years with some service reps, but Jim knows what he's talking about, is honest, and there's never any issues. While I never would have thought of getting tires at dealership in the past, he recommended some tires that were on sale with a buy 3 get 1 free deal, noting these were great tires by his experience. The cost was totally competitive with any store in Jax for quality Cooper tires. Driving with the new tires is a pleasure - quieter and with better handling, and with the 4 wheel alignment they track straight and true - on a van with 195,000 miles on it. It drives like a new van. I am totally satisfied with the transaction and surprised the dealer can do this well on costs for tires. Jim's honesty and knowledge makes the experience a good one - and I know my cars and can tell many a story of places that were not good. More

One even told me it was not worth their while to get the car on their lot unless I committed a non-refundable deposit. My experience at Coggin was fantastic. Darrell Williams immediately located the exact vehicle I was looking for and offered to hold it for a refundable deposit. He also committed to matching the lowest price I had found. He was friendly and easy to work with, as was his sales manager and Ashley in the finance office. It's common knowledge that buying a car can be exasperating, but the folks at Coggin Honda were genuine and helpful and made for a very decent experience. Awesome and I would highly recommend buying your next vehicle at Coggin. More
Consistently helpful. I came to the the used car lot to check out a BMW M3. The car was beautiful inside and out and seemed to operate normally. But as this is a exotic high maintenance car, I needed to know more about its medical history before pulling the trigger. The sales manager was polite and worked with me to bring the car to Tom Bush for a pre- purchase inspection. The next morning we picked up the car and with no signs of neglect, we worked out a very reasonable deal. I highly recommend asking for Kevin Lamb. These cars are in high demand and he went over and beyond to work with me and my extremely tight schedule. I fear that without Kevin, someone else would have snagged the car before me. More

Service Center Customer Service 4 tires was replace last Dec 2015. My son who is in College in Miami only use the car around his School area and when he goes back here in Jacksonvi 4 tires was replace last Dec 2015. After an hour Drive. They stop and Notice a Bulge in one of the tire. So, they replaced it with the Spare tires. After 2 hours Drive it was the 2 tires now with the same problem. they Stop to a nearest Walmart where they stop to replaced the 2 tires. for their safety. I called Coggin Honda of Jacksonville Atlantic Blvd. We've been a customer for a long time for the Service Center. But, when I tried to explain to Allison Davis , Service Manager about it last week I called her.. She always repeating that they need to see the actual tires for them to send it to the tire Company if they can replace it or not. I was so frustrated. it seems that i am lying and trying to make advantage of something else. We have a picture of the tires. But, she kept repeating that they need to see the actual tires. The tires was only 3 months when they replaced it from that Service Center. What do you think how you feel if you are in our side. Very Hard to comprehend how they treated me and my Family. My name if Romeo and they can search it with my first name. But, if you will respond with the same answer. Just dis regard this and we will think for another way. Sorry but we can't help it. We will not stop until we will get a good answer. Thank you. More
