This is how internet buying should be. They were the first and most thorough dealer to answer me on the Internet. They were the most concerned about making sure it was the right vehicle for me. And, it took a while to pick the right one; they have so many cars there. But, Eric was very patient and understanding my not wanting to come in, for fear of getting a 'salesman' pressuring me. All the dollars and cents were agreed upon before I ever even set foot in the dealership, or ever even 'met' my salesman. My new Fusion was sitting out front waiting for me when I arrived, all washed and and filled up. I'm not sure what I expected, but Eric and everybody at Mike Davidson sure went above and beyond. I also met the General Sales Manager 'Mitch' who genuinely made me feel appreciated as a customer, even though he had only known me for less than 2 minutes! I guess they really are "The Good Guys" like their ads say! After this wonderful experience; I feel silly for even feeling how I did before, about buying a car! More

Update to my Think Twice review Mike Davidson Ford - Jacksonville, Fl: When I had to follow up on an issue I first called the salesman on 6/22 and he told me he'd call me back with an answer. I had not heard from him so I called him back the next day and asked if he had any information on what we discussed the previous day and he said he did not, but would find out. He called me back, gave me the information he obtained and said he'd have the title clerk call me the next day as that is his chain of command to resolve such issues. I gave it until 6/28, but had not been contacted so I left the title clerk a message to call me. She called me back that morning and when I mentioned I had been expecting a call from her she said the salesman told her I may be calling her. The conversation ended with her saying she'd have Mitch Denley the general manager call me back since the managers were in meetings at that time. I called the next day to follow up and left her another message. Someone from finance called and I responded by leaving him a message to call me back. I did not hear back that day. However on 6/30 the day after my review posted I did get a call from the general manager Mitch Denley. He proceeded to tell me that I had all the information about the service records and that the difference between the internet price and sticker price is not so they can adjust their price and I should get my facts straight before I wrote my review. I did get the complete service record that was available and done by Mike Davidson Ford and I do not argue with that. I was told repeatedly by the salesman and sales manager they had the complete service records since the vehicle's original purchase date, but couldn't get them for me until Monday (it was a Saturday). When I asked the salesman to see if he could obtain it that day he came back and said they could pull it up on the computer in the office, but couldn't print it. It wasn't until I pushed the issue that they were able to produce a printout and I then questioned why there was only that initial service after the vehicle was originally purchased and nothing for the following years that it suddenly came to light that neither the salesman David Betancourt or sales manager Scott Williams knew the owner and that the service on the vehicle during those years was not performed at Mike Davidson Ford as they stated. Mitch Denley mentioned the trade in amount and a timeframe of 2 days before our transaction -- when I asked him to expand on the timeframe of 2 days he was quoting he refused to answer, told me he'd talk to my husband, he wasn't going to work with me to resolve my issue and then hung up on me. If you purchase a vehicle from Mike Davidson Ford- Jacksonville, Fl. and have a good experience that is great, but if it isn't I think the expectation would be to have management work with you to insure a satisfied and repeat customer who provides them referrals. Unfortunately it took my review to get a response and a very unprofessional one at that. More
