On December 20th, 2010, I drove to Jacksonville, Florida from Ormond By The Sea to purchase my new 2011 Ford Escape. We have a local dealer in the Daytona area. This is the fourth vehicle I have had the pleasure to purchase from Kevin White and Mike Davidson Ford. They have always been professional and courteous. My salesperson assists me in making a knowledgeable selection based upon my preferences and lifestyle. He is always kind and accommodating to me and my family. The rest of the staff provide an equally pleasurable buying experience. Multiple members of the sales team and general staff came by to say hello while I was in the dealership and to congratulate me on my new purchase in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. Even Mike Davidson, Jr. stopped in to say hello. I cannot imagine buying a new Ford from any other dealership than Mike Davidson Ford in Jacksonville, Florida. I am in a wheelchair and when my station wagon broke down we needed a reliable car, all we had to put down was a trade in. With me being sick, it was difficult to make it in for appointments, but Ryan always we needed a reliable car, all we had to put down was a trade in. I was looking for a vehicle that gets good gas mileage and I wanted to go with Ford since they didn't take the bailout money. Bought a 2011 Super Duty from Ryan Shapiro at this dealership. I am a Super Duty fan and have owned several, so my knowledge of the product is pretty high. It was a real pleasure to deal with a salesman in Ryan who had superior product knowledge of the truck and all of the systems, particularly, the Ford Sync system. Every question was answered thoroughly and thoughtfully and if there was a detail that Ryan did not know, he found out for me, no guessing. Every detail of the transaction was handled professionally and promptly by all of the staff that I encountered. I think the price was as good as I would get anywhere and better than most. By comparison, I looked at a similar truck at another dealer in the area and their senior salesperson told me that the new diesels did not have glow plugs. Clearly not the right place to spend this kind of money on a diesel truck. I highly recommend this dealership and Ryan Shapiro. More
