Classic car dealership experience; 1. "can't locate what you want so how about this instead?" (sales people kept trying to talk us into something we did not want in an attempt to sell us something on t what you want so how about this instead?" (sales people kept trying to talk us into something we did not want in an attempt to sell us something on the lot) 2. Let's change the price several times (after agreeing on a price and car, they said they could get, then blamed it on other car dealership that they couldn't get vehicle, told us the closest one we wanted (2113 Ecsape) was in Detroit - we found one in Bartow which is 3 hours from here 3. Sales manager actually called Bartow dealership and LIED saying they needed car for a family member AFTER we told them we were going to drive to Bartow and purchase car at that location. 4. Waste of time!! Hours (at least 5) and three trips up there and dealing with FOUR different salesmen. Three words that come to mind: exhausting, annoying, unethical!! Drive to Bartow. Our experience there was excellent and the price we were quoted actually went down $100 when we got there!! Ask for Kristen Carter or Steve!! It's worth the drive and will save you the frustration and time of dealing with sale people who treat you like an idiot!! More
About a month ago I bought a new Focus from Mike Davidson Ford, and I dealt with Joe as my salesman. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Joe is a brilliant young man (the dude has a physics degree Ford, and I dealt with Joe as my salesman. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Joe is a brilliant young man (the dude has a physics degree!!), and he listened to what I wanted. I got a GREAT deal on the new car, and dealing with their finance department was very straightforward. I will always recommend Mike Davidson Ford as the place to buy cars, and I will certainly recommend that you buy from Joe. Thanks so much! More
I have owned the same car for 6 years and was looking for a new one. Unfortunately the car that I was sold on was few and far between at dealerships. Being close enough, seeing one in Jacksonville was a grea a new one. Unfortunately the car that I was sold on was few and far between at dealerships. Being close enough, seeing one in Jacksonville was a great option, or so I thought. I went to Mike Davidson to test drive the car. They knew I was driving from about 30 minutes away to check it out and upon my arrival the car seemed to have been pulled around but one of the tires was completely flat. After pointing this out to the sales person, they told me I would have to wait to have the mechanic fill it up. Understandable. From here the whole process of buying my first car from a dealership was a disaster. I felt pressured the entire time. I was so sold on the car but unfortunately walked away from the dealer. They quoted me numbers to get me to come back up and talk about a deal and then retracted their statements. I was continually pressured by countless people calling me at least once a day even after they knew that I was not happy with the offer they had on the table. I honestly felt as a young woman that they were trying to take advantage of me. They wanted to make a deal so bad that they wouldt stop for five minutes to listen to my concerns. I actually had a salesperson tell me that this was the deal and hopefully we could part as friends... honestly? It was laughable. Luckily enough I went down to RC Hill Mistubishi for the same vehicle and had an amazing car buying experience. I will not return to Mike Davidson Ford. More
My husband and I went it to look at a used vehicle he had found online. We were sold on the vehicle until pulling back into the lot on the test drive. The vehicle started making a noise. The salesman told found online. We were sold on the vehicle until pulling back into the lot on the test drive. The vehicle started making a noise. The salesman told us it was probably because he had just sent it through the car wash and it was wet. So, if the car is wet it will make noises?!?! When asked if a mechanic could take a look at it, we were told that the used car manager said that it probably just needed some lube. The used car manager had not even looked at the vehicle. When we sat down to talk about the numbers in hopes that a mechanic would take a look the following day because it was getting late, they wanted to sign something stating we would take the vehicle home NOW if the deal was agreeable. Then they would not tell us what our trades were worth until we did a credit check. We had planned on paying cash. The salesman was friendly, but insulted my intelligence and took us as fools. Oh, and I forgot to mention that we were pulled over by a cop because a dealer tag was never put on the car. We left and ultimately purchased a new Ford at Mike Shad of Orange Park where the people and customer service were absolutely amazing!! More
Doug was extremely helpful and friendly in our sale. The entire process was easy, quick, and low-stress. I visited Mike Davidson Ford in August. I was torn between a Camaro and a Mustang. I had planned to visit Chevrolet afterwards. After speaking with Joe, I never set foot near a Chevrolet dealership. I between a Camaro and a Mustang. I had planned to visit Chevrolet afterwards. After speaking with Joe, I never set foot near a Chevrolet dealership. I consider myself pretty educated on Mustangs and he knew more than I did. It's not fun when you go to dealerships and you know more about the car on their lot than they do. It's happenned. Joe stood by and worked with me for three months. I visited every other Ford dealership in Jax, St. Augustine, Miami and Atlanta. Out of all of those dealerships, Joe was the only salesman I trusted. I'm a Mike Davison Ford customer for like and all thanks to Joe Fasanello. He's the best! More
I scheduled a test drive online and received 2 calls from their office to verify I would be there that day. This wasn't a problem but when my family and I showed up at the prescribed time, no one seemed to k their office to verify I would be there that day. This wasn't a problem but when my family and I showed up at the prescribed time, no one seemed to know what to do to help us or how to find the sales person who originally talked to me to confirm the test drive appointment. Then once they replaced our original sales person who was with another customer with Ryan, he didn't seem to know much about the Fusion. Instead of telling us about the features and selling points of the car, we had to ask about what the car had to offer. Overall it didn't seem like they were very interested in selling the car or showing it off to win a customer over the other dealerships in the area. Consequently we purchased a new car from another dealership. More
He was a pleasure to work with. We have bought cars for over 30 years and Kevin made this the best car buying experience we have ever had. He showed us how all the gadgets worked on the Escape and said to over 30 years and Kevin made this the best car buying experience we have ever had. He showed us how all the gadgets worked on the Escape and said to stop back by if we needed him to go over it again. I would recommend my friends to go see Kevin when they are in the market for a new vehicle. Joe & Connie More
