Sales must be the key feature here because Mike Davidson's service group leaves quite a bit to be desired. I took my Ford Escape in for a regular service check up ... oil change, tire rotation, fl Davidson's service group leaves quite a bit to be desired. I took my Ford Escape in for a regular service check up ... oil change, tire rotation, fluid check, brake check, battery check, etc. After picking up my vehicle and driving away, I noticed that my "change oil" light was still on. I did not have time to turn around, so I thought I could just call to get the sequence to turn it off. No, it is too long of a sequence apparently, so I need to make arrangements to stop by a dealership to get the annoying message off my dashboard. HOWEVER, the most distressing and the main reason I will never use this dealership for service is that when the technician rotated my tires during my routine visit, he did not secure the lugnuts and apparently I've been driving around for some time without three of them!! Two from one tire and one on another. I can't even begin to tell you how angry I am that this service department could have caused serious injury or death to me or my family! Thank goodness I was unable to reach Mike Davidson's service department because they didn't pick up the phone on several day-time attempts. It forced me to go to another dealership, from which we have purchased another vehicle, to get service for my Escape. If not for the attentive eyes of a technician from this competitor's service department, I would have been an accident waiting to happen on Jacksonville's roadways! Oh and by the way, I was just disappointed again ... just now I finished a phone conversation with a service representative at Mike Davidson's and he didn't even seemed that concerned about my service experience. I was told that he would tell the manager to speak with the technician, however no follow up call by management to retain this customer. You might want to buy here, but skip the sub-par service department. More

This was the most stress-free buying experience EVER! We felt very relaxed and comfortable. There was no overbearing sales pressure and none of the typical car salesman garbage.
