I returned to Mike Davidson after purchasing a Mustang form them in 2009. The buying experience is always better than any other dealerships that I have dealt with in the past. I recently purchased a 2012 form them in 2009. The buying experience is always better than any other dealerships that I have dealt with in the past. I recently purchased a 2012 Nissan and was not happy with it, I then returned to Mike Davidson to look for another Mustang instead. David "Gunny" Moore was very helpful and professional. I live about 60 miles away and so we spoke over the phone a couple of times prior to me coming in to the dealership. He expressed a lot of interest in finding out exactly what it was I was looking for and sincerely wanted to make sure I was happy with my new purchase. He also called afterwards to follow up and make sure everything was going well with the new car. I have recommended this dealership to several friends, and even had one purchase a vehicle from them last year. I love my new car! Big Thank You to "Gunny" for making the experience enjoyable : ) Cathy Knight Brunswick, GA More

As soon as I stepped onto the lot, Coe connected with me and initiated the consultation process. He stayed with me the entire time, and continually answered all questions (and occasionally laughed at my jo and initiated the consultation process. He stayed with me the entire time, and continually answered all questions (and occasionally laughed at my jokes and agreed with my political views). Since I was credit challenged, it took the staff quite a while to shop my loan and get me the financing that I needed ... but they succeeded. Jay, Rick, and Wyll smoothly took the ball from Coe when needed and eventually brought me back to him ... for a good conclusion. I drove away with my new purchase that evening.Coe even delayed an important family appointment to take care of my needs in buying this vehicle. Also, he followed up with me after the sale ... and he provided me with a contact for an after-market add-on that I wanted. I give 'um 4 paws up. More
As a follow up to my 9/30/13 posting ... The service manager did send me a courtesy email on 10/3/13 through this website. However, Davidson Ford needs lessons on customer service; one does not wait four days to respond to a disgruntled customer. He did ask that I contact him directly because he had no way to contact me (thank you Deal Rater for my privacy). When I was able to contact him on Monday, 10/7/13, I was greeted by his pre-recorded message telling me that he was on vacation all week. He did not make mention of this fact when he left me the email ... hmmmm ... interesting. To say the least this non-action on his part proved my point in my initial posting ... bad customer service. So today, 11/21/13, I was finally back in the area of Mike Davidson Ford and thought I would drop by so a service person could quickly turn off my "change oil soon" light that has been lit for months now (as previously mentioned in my 9/30 posting). I asked at the front desk and the gal there went into triage mode ... "how long has it been on?" ... "when was the last time the oil was serviced?" ... which I appreciate, but I explained that all is well with my oil because I had it serviced recently and really the only thing I needed was for the light to be turned off. She explained that she needed to whisk my car away, so that a technician "could look at it". I agreed, but then thought better and asked how long it would take to complete this task ... her answer was 15 minutes. This I know is not true because I am a long time Ford car owner. I have had other dealerships (not in Jacksonville) who forgot to reset the light on my vehicle and when asked they had someone pop right into my truck and turn off the light in less than five minutes. I left without having the light reset and a feeling of confirmation that my gut feeling on Mike Davidson Ford's service department is just plain bad was correct. More

I am not impressed with this dealership and will not return. I experienced my greater satisfaction at Bozard Ford. I called this dealership asking about a Nissan Titan that was on their web page and to return. I experienced my greater satisfaction at Bozard Ford. I called this dealership asking about a Nissan Titan that was on their web page and told I would receive a call back shortly, well that din't occur until the next day. I drove from Orange Park only to discover the Nissan had been sold. Foy the salesman we met was very helpful and showed us a very nice Ford f150 certified. We stared down the process of buying the vehicle when the deal started to unravel because of hard sales practice by Will. We explained we need to get our kids something to eat and would be back in. Well Will lured me back inside while my wife drove off and left me. Will kept telling me he was going to know off my socks and wanted me to sign an obligation paper and I explained my wife is part of this decision. He kept up the hard sell offering me 12k for my car and 5k off the Ford. I had already given him all my vehicles information and time had elapsed for him to check values. Will kept up with trying to have me commit to something without my wife present or input. Will kept pushing the paper to me. MY wife came back and I explained I had an obligation to look at a vehicle at Bozard Ford and I was keeping it. It was 3pm and I told him I would call him and be back if the deal didn't work out at Bozard. I meet a young man at Bozard who was very friendly and sought to meet my needs but I was torn between the two vehicles. I decided to look at Davidson Web site to find the vehicle on the site 5k less than on the lot price and it had a bed topper. I called Will to make sure the stock numbers were the same and the were. I asked why the topper was missing and it was 5k less money on the site. Will told me a story of how the topper was bad and the internet price is lower because it covers more people. I asked will if thats the case people who walk on your lot pay more without know what you will really take. He stumbled for an answer and said well the topper was off due to bad pistons. I find that hard to believe seeing how the pictures showed it clearly open. I asked Will if he was going to stick to our original deal and he dropped the bomb of how he really didn't have the time to evaluate my vehicle and could guarantee the pricing on the vehicles cause it had to be approved. I explained to Will he cost his company a vehicle sale and hung the phone up. i DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING AGAIN FROM THIS DEALERSHIP UNTIL THE NEXT DAY WHEN I WAS ASKED IF SOMEONE HAD ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NISSAN. Will I hope you don't treat everyone like this and I would hope your dealership understands that they need to revisit customer service training at all levels. Foy was your only good point in the whole transaction and the vehicle which I could be driving today. I urge others to try Bozard Ford, great people, great product, great experiance. Thanks Mark More
