This is our 2nd vehical purchase from DeLand Honda. The first was our 2006 Civic purchased new. We had all repairs and service done at thier service department, even oil changes. We were always happy with this dealership and of course we returned when we were ready to change vehicals. We needed to change to a larger vehical. Champ Edirisinghe met us at the service department when we came in for an oil change in the Civic and he was so very helpful, professional, friendly and knowledgable that we decided to purchase our new (used) CRV that day instead of waiting until September as we had planned. Thank you Champ, for all your help. We love our CRV! More
My Wife and I have been looking at the new Honda CR-V for several months. We elected to use the USAA car purchase program and were given several dealer offers. After reviewing their email offers, the Coggin Deland Honda gave us the best deal and we made an appointment to purchase the chosen vehicle. We were warmly received by Andrew Russo and directed to Don Liska. Don had the CRV-V brought to the front door for a test drive. It was pouring rain but the test drive went very well. After that Don went through all the paperwork and then to the Finance Dept with Matt Mink. He showed us several options, but we quickly closed the deal. These three gentleman were very professional and friendly. They made this experience pleasant and painless. We will recommend this dealership to all our friends! More

Mark is a very good sales person. He was extremely freindly and helpful in getting us our Honda Pilot. It was a long day after being there almost 6 hours getting things in order and my husband and i w freindly and helpful in getting us our Honda Pilot. He went above and beyond in his customer service and went out of his way to make us comfortable and meet all of our needs and made sure we left with the car we really wanted. Andrew and Don are the best. They helped me get into a great car even though my credit is not so great. They worked at it over and over again until i was approved. However, this time we actually enjoyed our car buying experience. Andrew Russo was our salesman. He was so kind and after asking us about what our needs were for the vehicle, price etc. he walked the lot with us and listed all the pros and cons for each vehicle. He seemed honest and I never felt the usual pressure that I have experienced in the past. He was really, really great. I can't end my review without mentioning Matt Mink, the finance manager. He also was truly kind and incredibly patient. He went above and beyond to get us the best interest rate. I highly recommend this dealership, ESP. Andrew and Matt, to anyone needing a new car. More
Andrew met us before we entered the dealership. We just drove in on a whim we were actually going to another dealership in Deland. We told Andrew what type of vehicle we were looking for, a low priced reli drove in on a whim we were actually going to another dealership in Deland. We told Andrew what type of vehicle we were looking for, a low priced reliable car for my 16 year old son. Andrew showed us some cars and when we stated they were all too expensive, Andrew said to make an offer on the one we liked best. We made an offer far below the asking price and explained that this was all the money my son had. Andrew and his manager worked on this deal for quite awhile and finally put the deal together for us. I feel that both Andrew and his manager worked very hard to help a 16 year old buy his first car and we are greatful to them both. More

On August 6, 2010 I wrote a review of this dealership praising salesmen Barry Sadler and Bob Benton. Those comments are true. However, since that review, Coggin has sold their business to Asbury Auto o praising salesmen Barry Sadler and Bob Benton. Those comments are true. However, since that review, Coggin has sold their business to Asbury Auto of Georgia, and the new owners have moved in their management team that in my opinion HAVE NO CONCEPT of GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am old school and like to change oil every 3,500 miles. Their service advisor, Spirios began to argue with me about not wanting to perform an oil change. It was necessary for me to inform him of the following: 1) it was my car and I could change the oil as often as I desired; 2) his ownership made money on each oil change; and, 3) NO ONE EVER WON AN ARGUMENT WITH A CUSTOMER. When Honda America contacted me regarding the most recent service, i rated them a ONE as that was the lowest grade allowed. I had my more recent service performed at Hendrick Honda in Daytona Beach. Mr. Hendrick is operating that dealership like his NASCAR team and the customer service is first class. In my opinion, Barry Statler and business agent "Smiley" are the only personnel at Deland (Asbury Georgia) Honda that have any concept of customer service. They can operate their business as they do in Georgia, but I do not have to give them my business. More
