Awesome and efficient experience Joey did a great job and was very accommodating. We went in when it was pitch dark and Joey and his sales team gave us the price we asked for. The new showroom and service department look great. We were greeted in the lot by Philip. I already knew which car I wanted but didn't see it. We went inside and he was able to locate the exact color and model that we were looking for. There was only one available in the entire state. (It's an unusual color) He had it there for us the next day. He gave me all the purchase and lease options and then I told him what I thought was fair to pay. I don't like the back and forth you usually get at a dealership and appreciated not getting the run around. We came to a price and I signed the paperwork. The next day my car was ready for me to pick it up. Philip sent me pictures of the car as soon as it arrived. I appreciated that. I came in the next day in a hurry to pick it up and it was ready and waiting for us. He called the next day to see if I had any questions. I will be purchasing a car for my girlfriend soon and will definitely be returning to DeLand Honda and Philip Gadhia. More
High Pressure - Fake Customer Service Fake Friendliness I was insulted by the high pressure atmosphere at Coggin Honda. In 2012 I leased a new car and things went well. However when I returned in February t I was insulted by the high pressure atmosphere at Coggin Honda. In 2012 I leased a new car and things went well. However when I returned in February to discuss with Don Liska what my options would be after my lease matures he didn't give up until I signed my life away on a ridiculous contract on another used 2012 car. We were not intending to buy a car that day. We only wanted options. All of a sudden I "got it" that he wasn't interested in helping me out with a list of options. He and his cohorts made me and my wife feel ganged up on using all the sales gimmicks they had. Even though I knew what the were doing, they wore us down quite literally and at the time my wife and I couldn't take anymore they gave us the impression that finally we were gonna get a good price on a 2012 car. We signed, we processed out, got the keys with paperwork in hand. 12 hours later I reviewed the sales contract and then felt very angry. We had dealt with Don Liska before and thought he was a straight up guy, but this experience made us see what he is really made of. Was it really necessary to get three guys besides himself to join us at his desk? I threatened to walk out until I got the payment I wanted. I discovered later that the contract was for a 84 month payment schedule at $274 a month. I recalled every minute of our conversation at the store and I remembered, and kicked myself for not asking them to FIRST, DISCOUNT THE PRICE OF THEIR CAR and then we would haggle. Big costly mistake on my part but the design was to tire my mind so bad that the emotion would make me sign, not my neocortex. BEWARE of Coggin Honda. Nobody there cares about your best interests. It was only the sale, and they don't care about our spending ethics and our good judgment, our budget. I will never return there. By the way. One of the reviews I read was written by the wife of an employee there. Don't ask how I know. AND, I inadvertently left some money in the lease car. Did they tell me they found it? No. More

He's an outstanding employee and so is the rest of the staff at Coggin Honda. everyone was welcoming to our children as our papers were getting finalized and we really appreciate the hospitality. Excellent Experience - Fantastic Customer Service! From start to finish this was the best car buying experience I have ever had! My dad was in the business for years so I know my way around a car lot. From start to finish this was the best car buying experience I have ever had! My dad was in the business for years so I know my way around a car lot. Ian in management was a straight shooter, Barry was the best salesman I have ever come across, and Sal in finance was great. The day after the sale we were called because the dealership got us a lower rate than we signed for. We went back to update paperwork, and no, we didn't even ask for this to be done. We will definitely be back for our next Honda purchase! More
