We were using Cargurus dot com to find the best deal on a new Honda CRV, after a frustrating experience with our local Gainesville Hona dealer, who is We were using Cargurus dot com to find the best deal on a new Honda CRV, after a frustrating experience with our local Gainesville Hona dealer, who is historically overpriced and genetically incapable of negotiating a fair price. We called Deland Honda and spoke directly with Ed, the General Manager, and arranged a great cash price on a car we liked. We left Gainesville at 3 PM, arrived at 5 PM, and drove off the lot in our new car at 9 PM. It was one of the easiest car purchases ever, which was important to us, because my wife has been injured 2 weeks prior when she was rear ended, and her car was totaled, so she was in no shape for the normal prolonged haggling process at most dealers. This was a pleasant car buying experience, and Isaac Z. made the whole process flow smoothly. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient thru the whole process, which put my wife, still suffering from a concussion, at ease. I have since recommended to my friends in Gainesville that they drive to Deland Honda to buy their next car, as we will certainly do. More
