Went in because there was a rattle coming behind the dashboard, left the car a full day, got a call saying they didn't find anything wrong, told to come back during the week to have a manager hear the s dashboard, left the car a full day, got a call saying they didn't find anything wrong, told to come back during the week to have a manager hear the sound. Did that, manager sent advisor with me, he acknowledged that the sound wasn't normal, left the car another 3 days. Car was ready at 9 am (according to paperwork) got called at the end of the day saying the car was ready. Only to drive it out of the dealership and hear the rattle. They're wasting my time, hyundai sent me to another dealer. More
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I have received from your dealership. My vehicle was undergoing an oil consumption test, when the next day after I got the oil replace the service I have received from your dealership. My vehicle was undergoing an oil consumption test, when the next day after I got the oil replaced, while driving home from picking up my daughter from school, the engine seized while driving. I had the car towed to your dealership, where it sat for over a month before the engine was replaced. After a month it finally got the engine replaced and on the day I picked it up I saw it had grease all over the door and the panels in the car. While driving home it broke down again. It seems like a transmission problem. Upon a brief inspection I noticed that there were loose bolts, a bolt sitting on the windshield grill under the wipers, and electrical wires not in their protective secure routing. Now the vehicle is at the dealership again and I'm getting nonchalant responses from the service person. While waiting for engine replacement I was without a vehicle for several weeks, a loaner should have been provided, now I'm without a vehicle again and I have 2 daughters in school. I am very frustrated with the service I have received from the(COCONUT CREEK HYUNDAI Service Department) dealership. I have been a loyal Hyundai customer for many years and I am very disappointed with the way this has been going. 3 persons that I've referred to have purchased New vehicles from Hyundai after I purchased mine! UPDATE: Service man said I need a transmission replacement, how?? why?? what's wrong with the transmission if it only went in for seized engine. Unless the shop's error with the Engine to Transmission assembly! I need details! More
I dropped off my car 7:30 AM March 13th for three items and waited for my car. They fixed two of them and told me my car was ready. When I asked about the third item , a problem with a feature on the key f and waited for my car. They fixed two of them and told me my car was ready. When I asked about the third item , a problem with a feature on the key fob, they told me the mechanic could not replicate the problem. So I asked Kevin the service writer to get my keys and come out to my car. In seconds I showed him the problem and said "wow that was really hard to replicate" . He got the shop foreman out who threw a little tizzy fit about how busy everyone was since it was Monday. I said so that means the mechanic just didn't want to fix it . Anyway he said he would look at it and after awhile Ron Melko the service manager said it needed a part and I left the car. It is now the end of day # 16 and no one calls with an update, no messages returned , no texts returned. I even wrote to a sales manager Meir Karli for help. NOTHING . Would never buy a car here ! AVOID THE SERVICE CENTER! To summarize Their Roadside is unreliable They chose to not sell cars with spare tires included, which I find scummy Their service assist To summarize Their Roadside is unreliable They chose to not sell cars with spare tires included, which I find scummy Their service assistants cant be trusted to know the warranty coverage on vehicles sold in the same building They will not help you with a temporary ride unless you are deemed worthy Their parts distributors are slow and send things to the wrong place regularly The service manager is unresponsive to concerns and delays. General communication could also improve (Frank was good, all others terrible) STORY BELOW This is a long story and I will try to be brief, but at every single step of the process of getting my car repaired was not handled properly or competently To start, I hit some road debris and had to call Hyundai Roadside early in the morning. They confirmed someone would be there in 90 minutes to tow me, as Hyundai sees fit to not sell a 25k+ car with a spare tire. Anyway, 80 min later the tow driver calls to tell me he will be there in 30. After and hour and several calls, he has disappeared off the face of the earth and I have to call roadside again. Another truck was called and I had to wait a total of 4 hrs. Shows theblack of reliability of who Hyundai trust with Roadside I get to the Dealer at Coconut Creek. I need a new tire and rim. Now, I have warranty coverage on my wheel. This was an extra I paid for when I bought the car from this dealership. You would think that info would be readily visible on my account. The service assistant, Carol, tried to charge $550 for parts and labor and I had to insist on the coverage for my car. I am having a hard time believing she could not see that coverage right away, so either it was ignored to try and charge me or it wasnt there and marks a huge red flag for how accounts are managed here. So thats all set, I am told that the part will be in next week. Now, no offer of a loaner. Despite knowing my car would be out a while and they work with Enterprise for rentals, I was told they wouldnt do that for my case. So..... no help with alternative transport. Week passes, day I was given arrives and not ready, told tomorrow. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. Come to find out, the part was sent to a dealer on the opposite side of the state. This was communicated with the implication that this is "something that just happens from time to time". So, I have to wait weeks and spend hundreds more to get back and forth from my jobs for something passed off as trivial. What was supposed to be at most a week and change turned into a nearly month long headache that, despite warranty coverage, cost me far more in alt transport, lost wages to shifts I couldn't get to due to lack of reliable transport, and other expenses. I could have gone literally anywhere else and it would have been solved much quicker and much cheaper. Tried calling and left 2 messages to the service manager about this whole ordeal, he never responded. Frank tried his best, but every link in the chain around him could not work competently. I am now out well over 1k in excess costs and losses due to how long this took. I am angry and will go out of my way to avoid this dealership going forward More
I bought a Hyundai certified pre-owned car from this dealer 2 years ago. The turbo needs to be replaced. It's still under warranty, but the dealer, as incredible as it sounds, claims it's not under warr dealer 2 years ago. The turbo needs to be replaced. Hyundai itself has told me over the phone and by email that it is still under warranty, but this the finance dept at the dealer says no. More
Every time that I need to do any errands for my car, it gives hard time dealing with this dealership. I will give it 1 start for keeping my appointment time, 1 for providing lift 2 ways, but regarding cust gives hard time dealing with this dealership. I will give it 1 start for keeping my appointment time, 1 for providing lift 2 ways, but regarding customer service, labor and common sense, no sir can't do. I took my car for a recall, oil change and AC filter change. Obviously they try pressure you to get all services, but if someone mess up with white stains in your seats and doors, they will call you a liar. If i had a car wash and vacuum, and my seats have stains all over, do something before delivering the car to the customer, and stop saying " we never had an issue like that, you might had that already". - Gary Levine (service advisor) More
I was there 02/23/21 for oil change and problem with AC with Hyundai Accent 2014.Like always very long waiting time even when you have an appointment.I was patient though, today I had had to check AC system with Hyundai Accent 2014.Like always very long waiting time even when you have an appointment.I was patient though, today I had had to check AC system and get estimates. Before this, I had to sign that I agree to pay diagnostic fee $124.95.The fee will be waived if I will decide fix AC. Well ,I did sign it,I was willing to fix it.After 2 h waiting I left waiting room to find “my” Advisor Mario outside the office talking with colleagues. When he saw me ,he rushed to the office showing me to go after him.It looked like he has policy to keep costumers as long as he can.I was disappointed,Mario seems to be very nice and friendly person.Anyway he had my diagnostic paper ready. And here is my the biggest problem.,He gave me 2 prices.First price was for replacement AC compressor over $1000.00,second price included replacing also condenser. All together with labor over $ 1800.00. It was not clear which scenario will apply.Big deference. I felt forced to spend this diagnostic fee which didn’t tell me exactly what is needed.Besides I was shocked to see those prices anyway.Decided to fix somewhere else and never come back.Don’t ever agree to pay for their diagnostic More
I usually bring my car to another dealership for service, but I had no choice. I brought my car in because it had a burning oil smell from the engine and the fumes were coming inside the car. After being the but I had no choice. I brought my car in because it had a burning oil smell from the engine and the fumes were coming inside the car. After being there for hours, the mechanic seemed to fix the problem. Then after paying nearly $500.00, I was told I needed valve cover gaskets and that they were on back order. I was told they would arrive the next week...no gaskets. Then I was told they would arrive the following week and so on. It’s been a month now and the gaskets are still on back order. This was blamed on COVID. Then my service provider, Rita Bessman did not offer to send me home in a rental car, saying my autistic son might damage it. Now I am driving around with fumes still coming inside the car which is hazardous. I called the service manager many times and never received a call back. The service at this dealership is horrible and I would no recommend going there to anyone. More
