Pretty Good Experience I found this place to be very laid back and friendly...I was serviced quickly, and though I came in with (what I thought was) a difficult situation, i I found this place to be very laid back and friendly...I was serviced quickly, and though I came in with (what I thought was) a difficult situation, it was worked out just fine! And I'm loving the car I purchased there. I think Hyundai's are pretty good cars, and a new one will sell itself pretty well. So one of the most important things to a consumer choosing to buy from one Hyundai dealer over the other will probably be minor things. For me those things were - 1. the car I was given had almost no gas in it! Less than 1/4 tank. I just thought that was strange because I have never purchased a car where I did not receive a full tank of gas (or a complementary gas card) before I drove off the lot. But worse that that - to try to get some was challenging. The sales person realized the situation of the near empty gas and invited me back in a couple of days to get it ( I can't remember why I couldn't get it right then - I was there first thing in the morning and it wasn't busy...) Anyway I return, and he is too busy. Invites me to come back ANOTHER couple days later, which now puts me at having to go during my work day, which I wasn't able to do...the salesperson I dealt with said I could only get the gas from him, which made it harder because I, the customer, basically had to work around his hours instead of coming when it was easiest for me - Now hopefully my situation was really rare, but in case it wasn't - Coconut Creek Hyundai, please make changes! I just ended up filling the tank myself and moving on... 2. I left feeling like I did not get the best price I could've for the car I purchased. Okay, that's not a MINOR thing at all...if you say your going to give me a good deal, just give it to me. I actually went back to the dealership to talk to the finance guy again because after doing a little research I KNEW I was paying too much for the car. And okay, he did a little adjustment, still not enough, but I since I had already signed the paperwork, I appreciated that he made any changes at all. But I think I speak for every consumer when I say - if the only way I can NOT get ripped off is to put up a fuss with you over the price, why should I buy a car from you in the first place? I know negotiations is Car Buying 101 but since Coconut Creek Hyundai wants to be an exceptional dealership - be honest and competitive with your pricing! I would still recommend this dealership because - They really are concerned to know that they are serving their customers well, and I believe that my next buying experience with them would be even better. More

Worst customer service I brought my car into the Hyundai service center for a simple oil change. I came in somewhat early in the middle of the week when I thought they would I brought my car into the Hyundai service center for a simple oil change. I came in somewhat early in the middle of the week when I thought they would not be as busy. After parking my car under the overhang in the service area, I got out and stood by my car and waited for a customer service agent. There is a sign there saying that is what were are supposed to do. While waiting I had 2 different service center employees walk right past me and didn't acknowledge me whatsoever. It was like I was a ghost. Finally a third employee acknowledged me and stated that someone will be with me shortly. Finally after a few more minutes a fourth employee came to me to fill out the paperwork. After waiting 1 1/2 hours; I decided to ask for a time frame on when the vehicle would be finished. An employee went to the back and as I looked into the back I can see my car being driven into the service center. They were just now bring the car back to get started on the oil change. I questioned the employee who showed me the time on the work order sheet and that time was 30 minutes after I initially filled out the paperwork. It took them 30 minutes just to enter my car into the system and then another hour before they were able to bring the car back. They were not even that busy! To make matters worse when I questioned the employee about the time frame; he began to argue with me and just basically stated it is not his fault. After another 25 minutes; the car was done and I was able to leave. They did not even wash or vacuum the car like I asked and it was printed on the paperwork. Absolutely horrible customer service. My wife and I were thinking about buying another car from them but after this experience, we will never go back to that store! Stay Away!!! More
