I have a 2003 Eurovan and had a problem with my passenger lock door assembly. Initially Steve Bullister informed me that the whole assembly would need to be replaced and that the parts couldn't be obtained for a few days. I had planned an anniversary camping trip for that weekend and was pretty disappointed that the camper wouldn't be ready. However, Steve called back the following day and said that the technician (M G Harvey?) had worked overtime to re-wire this manually instead of ordering the parts. Not only did they save me money but we did get to go on our camping trip that weekend to Ohiopyle. thanks a lot...especial to technician....great service...I will be back. Bill W. More
Deception/Buyer Beware In June of 2014 I went to the South Hills VW location to purchase what I thought was a 2013 VW Passat which was a "certified Pre-owned" vehicle with N In June of 2014 I went to the South Hills VW location to purchase what I thought was a 2013 VW Passat which was a "certified Pre-owned" vehicle with NO accidents. The dealership even printed a "carfax" indicating such. They assured me that the car was like new. I proceeded to buy the car. Just recently I discovered a repair bill that was tucked away in the owners manual in the glove box where there was $2500 worth of damage done to the car (including frame). I contacted the dealership in good faith indicating the discovery of the undisclosed repairs. Their response was "you are such a good customer of ours and we value your opinion highly"...........Apparently not. The dealership is refusing to do anything but a "courtesy inspection". BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! More

Were # 1-WHAT A JOKE!!!! I was in the market for a VW Tiguan Lease for my daughter.. When I entered the showroom, a young salesman (whom I won't name because I don't want him I was in the market for a VW Tiguan Lease for my daughter.. When I entered the showroom, a young salesman (whom I won't name because I don't want him to be reprimanded), asked me if I was aware of Cochran's fair market pricing and how it worked. I was lectured how Cochran is the low price leader and would beat any dealer.. I was quoted a price of $329 a month for a 36 month lease with $ 2,000 +++ down. When I mentioned that I had already been offered the EXACT SAME VEHICLE for $304 a month, with $ 400 less of a down payment, the salesman went on the defensive. He demanded to know the dealer and said that they were probably not including sales tax, and seemed incredulous that anyone could or would beat their price. Actually, the other dealer had included sales tax, and the quote was accurate. The salesman then started to berate the other dealer's service department and how they send their vehicles to Cochran because they cant' repair them on their own WHAT A CROCK!!! So much for # 1 Cochran. MY DAUGHTER IS NOW ENJOYING HER NEW TIGUAN, at considerably less cost than the self proclaimed, # 1 Leader. Let the Buyer beware!!! More
The work got done, but I didn't know what was going on. 8157 My vehicle was dropped off after hours on a Friday evening, I understood that no one would work on it until Monday. I call Saturday to make sure the vehicle and keys were there and everything was set, left a message on the voicemail and received a call back and a reasonable time. I was told car and keys were safe and the car would be checked out Monday. Not until Monday afternoon (2pm) that I called them to leave a voicemail and recieve a call back around 3pm. Apparently their address on gps has the same address listed for two different locations, so my car was in the wrong lot. I was told I would have to pay to get it moved to the correct lot. Whole day wasted. I should have known this on Saturday when I was told the care was received with keys. To speed up the review, I did not receive any initial calls to update me on what was going on, only after calling and leaving messages did I get an update. My rating for customer service is a little misleading. The people are not bad, never was anyone rude or disrespectful. I just work in an industry as an Accountant, and I know communication is my key to keeping all my customers happy. There is a severe lack of communication going on there. I even had to request a loaner car after 10 days of having my vehicle when the estimate was 5 days. Even then I was told I would get a call back with confirmation that the loaner car was approved, I still had to call them to even find that out, in which I had to leave another message and wait 30 mins for a call back. Overall my car has been serviced and is fixed. The services that were rendered, from my understanding are not everyday services that they deal with. So I understand the time estimate being off, but lack of communication is still unacceptable. More
Why didn't I go to VW of South Hills first?! I'm not sure that I can properly express how awesome my experience with Peggy, Paul and Mike was at Volkswagen of South Hills. After a week of terribl I'm not sure that I can properly express how awesome my experience with Peggy, Paul and Mike was at Volkswagen of South Hills. After a week of terrible experiences at multiple other dealerships, I was so pleased (surprised even?) to be greeted by a friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff. From the moment I walked in the door, Peggy was a dream to work with. She was straightforward, kind and had her facts straight. She asked about all of my wants and needs, and found me a used 2011 Jetta that far exceeded my expectations of what I thought I could afford. She is so genuine and beyond helpful. I spent 5 hours at VW of South Hills and did not feel like 1 minute of my time was wasted. The buying process was seamless, and I felt completely confident and comfortable in the purchase that I was making. The manager, Paul, listened to all of my concerns about financing and helped me make the right choice for my less than ideal credit situation. He was understanding and never made me feel bad that I wasn't in a better position financially. When it came to making the big move and signing papers, Mike thoroughly explained everything and answered all of my questions. Again, I felt completely at ease making the biggest solo purchase of my life. I did not once feel like Peggy or Paul were just trying to make a sale, nor did they scoff at my moderate budget. I genuinely felt like they were interested in helping me make the right purchase for my needs. To say that the staff at VW of South Hills went above and beyond would be an understatement. I am truly grateful for this positive experience and look forward to working with Peggy again in the future. More

Brandee made this car buying experience the best ever! She is friendly, accessible, informative, upbeat and very professional. She explained every step of the way, was a wonderful and prompt communicator, and answered all of my questions in a clear, easily understandable way. In fact, Brandee is excellent at making a customer feel comfortable enough to ask whatever question she needs to ask about buying a car. She is one of the top salespersons I've ever met in any of my shopping experiences! I told her I will recommend her to anyone who tells me they are looking to buy a new car, because I know they will be in top-notch hands. One other comment: #1 Cochran in the South Hills has a lovely office space and their whole staff seems genuinely warm and friendly and happy to be of service. A really stellar experience all the way around! More
