Unfortunately, we were directed by the Autotrader search engine to a similar deal on a 2022 Ford Explorer Limited, 46,361 miles, VIN:1FMSK7FH7NGA56567at a dealership in New Port Richey, FL which is only a engine to a similar deal on a 2022 Ford Explorer Limited, 46,361 miles, VIN:1FMSK7FH7NGA56567at a dealership in New Port Richey, FL which is only a 1.5 hour drive. The online sales price was identified as $26,769. The Sales Manager called me and left a voicemail stating that they were family owned, didn't charge any additional fees and were wanting to make a deal with us. He offered us a $1500 trade in voucher if we acted before September 30th. His office valued our trade using Kelley Blue Book and sent us an email stating our trade-in range for a clean vehicle was between $24,122 and $26,269. I returned his call and after speaking with me he texted me his contact and advised me to use his cell for contact. I told him I didn't want to deal with a salesperson who was constantly going back and forth to speak with him to close a deal. The Sales Manager assured me that he would handle my sale personally, start to finish! He asked when we would come out from Lakeland to New Port Richey and I stated (on Tuesday) that we had an appointment in Brandon, FL around 2pm on Wednesday and asked if we could come out on Thursday? After discussion about what was then TS Helene, we agreed to move our Wednesday Brandon appointment to an earlier time and I asked him if he would be there Wednesday. He said he would be there until closing at 7pm. We agreed that I would text him when we were leaving Brandon. He said he would have everything ready and was looking forward to meeting me. I texted him when we left Brandon, and he replied: "Sounds great. See you shortly." I left a voicemail for him earlier that morning saying that we had changed our mind and wanted to look at their Honda Passport. When we were halfway to New Port Richey we received a call from a Salesman named Jerome and he told us that Adam, the Sales Manager, was not in today and to ask for him when we arrived. I explained that I didn't want to go back and forth with sales reps. He assured me that he would be handling our transaction himself. When we arrived, we asked for Jerome who then introduced us to a newer salesperson, Travis (who was very understanding and respectful). After a period of time I asked the salesperson what the value of our trade was determined to be. He returned with a sales report from CarFax that showed that our vehicle was valued at $18,500! I promptly told Travis that that figure was offensive! I then showed Travis the email I received from 'their dealership' showing the trade-in range for a clean vehicle was between $24,122 and $26,269. I also showed him that I obtained the Black Book clean trade in (at auction) value of $24,370! I told him that the car was in excellent condition, had new Goodyear Eagle tires with less than 2000 miles on them, that we had all the Service Records from the dealership since purchase, clean title with no lien ever recorder, one owner, garage kept, no pets or smoker AND we also had a Custom CoverCraft cover that they could use as an incentive. I then told Travis that, in my opinion, the turnover and inspection department would have little or nothing to do other than the state required safety inspection before putting the vehicle out on their own pre-owned lot with profitable pricing. Travis then asked me what I thought the trade in value should be if not $18,500? I stated that to be fair, based on the excellent condition of the vehicle with 28,673 miles, our black book valuation of $24,370 and their own valuation of $24,122 and $26,269, that I believed $25,000 was fair given the condition of the vehicle, the report from the estimator who inspected and drove the car stating that he couldn't find anything wrong with the car other than he thought the driver door made a minor clunking noise when opening slowly? Nit Picking? Travis produced a dealer sale sheet showing our out the door price of $16,800! Loaded with Dealer fees, etc. We left! More
Worst dealers in Port Richey Branch specificaly Emerson and Jason, I am going to see a lawyer. Basically they stall my SUV 2022 fully loaded automatic, Grand Touring 16000 they traded in for Mazda 2024 reg and Jason, I am going to see a lawyer. Basically they stall my SUV 2022 fully loaded automatic, Grand Touring 16000 they traded in for Mazda 2024 regular car without me knowing its a basic SUV. they did everything so quickly, they used me because I am not very experience and not knowing too much. they switch the car I did not look at the new vehicle, only when I switch and start to move my belonging in the new SUV, I kept telling the dealer this is not like the same car that I had, this car doesnt have all the optian that I had, so I decided to ride the car and try to see how it is. I do not like it at all, I went back next morning, to retrieve my SUV back I did not like that car, of course they claim that the car is no longer here, beside there was some stuff that was left in the car, that they did not move for me, like 4 Sunglasses, Mawi, Prada, Burberry, Coack these sunglass worse $1,000 also I had my Sunpass stick to the window. If they were honest, and serious they should of kept/save them for me, I never got these items back. I am goind to seek the help of a lawyer. they are the worst car dealer I have ever had. In spite that I always deal with Mazda, but these people deserve to be fired. and condemed. I rate this location and the car dealers 0 More
