WARNING: GO TO A DIFFERENT MAZDA DEALERSHIP! I purchased a Mazda 3 here. The backroom paperwork guy named Bo Morgan slid three insurance policies into the sale of the vehicle without explaining I purchased a Mazda 3 here. The backroom paperwork guy named Bo Morgan slid three insurance policies into the sale of the vehicle without explaining they would cost me over $1200. I went back to the dealership to get them refunded and it has been several weeks and I still have not been refunded despite having paperwork for their cancellation. The finance company said I should have been refunded within a few days. I've contacted the local authorities who say they believe something is highly irregular about the behavior of the dealership personnel and is investigating the matter. More

Visited the Port Richey store last Sunday; drove a new vehicle, and inquired about a Certified vehicle at the Lakeland store. I was given a trade in value of $10800 if I bought the certified vehicle, or, $12000 if I purchased a new vehicle. Frankly, that is a tad unethical. Nonetheless, I attempted to purchase the Certified vehicle; called Lakeland Ed Morse multiple time, left multiple messages on Sean's cell phone (the appointment maker. Never received a return call.) Several days later, I noticed the vehicle I test drove at the Port Richey store had yet another price. Labeled as "Special", the price was $20245; the best price I was offered was $24429. I left a vm for Jaclyn DeBello, my sales person. When I was able to speak with her a day later, she stated she "had no idea" why that price was listed on the internet, but, she would research and contact me back in five minutes. One hour later, instead of a phone call, I received an e-mail from Ms. DeBello with the following message: "according to our internet department the pricing is completely wrong. but he said he would take 3000 off the window sticker price." What price was that? It was never stated in the e-mail. Who is "he"? Outrageous, arrogant, and without any regard for me as a potential customer. How could any sales person think that that message was appropriate, or communicated a willingness to do business with me? I called and spoke with Kyle Carver, who stated he was a Sales Manager. He essentially stated he could "sell any car at any price, whether or not it was higher or lower than the sticker price." What does that mean? It was blatantly obvious that Mr. Carver was not interested in selling the vehicle; he declined to provide contact information for Mr. Morse, and rather advised that I call the General Manager. When I asked to what avail, Mr. Carver failed to respond appropriately. A full three hours after Ms. DeBello's initial e-mail, she sent another stating Ed Morse was using a new company (Marketing, I suspect, although never stated in the e-mail), and that there was a glitch with pricing and errors with the rebates. I find this insulting, and another example of the sheer arrogance and incompetence of the employees in that dealership. This is a dealership that has had adequate ratings in the past. Based on my experience, I would state this dealership no longer operates with any modicum of integrity, consideration, or care for its potential clients. Salespeople are arrogant, and disinterested. When I went in to the dealership last Sunday, it took a full ten minutes to find anyone that even greeted me. How is that possible? In every other dealership that I have visited, salespeople come out of the building to greet you! I would think in this extremely competitive environment, every effort would be made to accommodate a potential customer. I have cash, and a 2015 worth a $12000 trade in. Certainly, someone will want my cash. More
