Poor experience with FULL WARRANTIED vehicle I was basically told that I made up a story about my sunroof shattering while driving. When the work finally was completed the sunroof wouldn't open. The mechanics left black smudges all over the tan interior of the truck. The ticket that I got after the 'cleaning' said 'light' marking. It was all over the interior roof and sun visor and there was nothing 'light' about it. The dealership also accused me of lying about previous work done to the vehicle and there was none. They refused to fix the paint caused by the shattered glass and gave me a $17,000 estimate. While waiting in the waiting room for my truck I overheard several older ladies complaining about how long everything was taking. I love Chevrolet but since this is the only Chevy dealership in my area, I will probably buy another make of vehicle next time. Dealing with Coad was a huge disappointment. The dealership did nothing to make anything easier on us the customer. The only positive thing about the dealership was Austin. He was respectful and tried his best to accommodate us. More

New car buyer I have been looking for a new vehicle for quite some time and finally made the decision to go forward with the process! We looked at a few dealerships I have been looking for a new vehicle for quite some time and finally made the decision to go forward with the process! We looked at a few dealerships in Cape Girardeau as well as in STL to figure out what I like and what was in our price range. We went last minute on a weekend to just look and Mitch was very friendly and let us test drive a Chevy Sonic before closing! We didn't intend to buy anything that weekend and he did not push like most would. We came back down a few weeks later to look at a different vehicle and wanting to buy. We directly asked for Mitch since we worked with him the first time and he ended up setting me up with a nearly brand new Chevy Trax! We got a very good deal and although we were at the dealership for close to 4 hours it didn't seem like it! Mitch was very helpful and made the process painless. Thanks to them I now have a reliable and very nice future family car! More

This team was the most professional and courteous guys I have dealt with. No one tried to force a vehicle on me, it was my decision to trade vehicles with them for the second time. They took my information and assisted me in a professional manner. Both worked diligently with me to answer all my questions and make it possible for me to purchase this vehicle. I went back to Coad for this vehicle because I had purchased my previous vehicle from then and had no complaints about the great staff they have. I also would like to commend Rick Murray the Business Manager, he worked very hard to finance my vehicle and explained all the warranties and plans that you can obtain when you purchase your vehicle. He never once tried to push any plan at me to purchase, just carefully explained each one. I greatly appreciated him for taking the time to do so. I took out the extended warranty, the gap insurance and credit life for my piece of mind. 3 years ago, Rick explained the extended warranty and I took it out then. It recently saved me 2 to 3 thousand dollars on my previous vehicle due to major motor issues, he was a lifesaver. I have read reviews where people give the business manager a hard time, but if you listen carefully you have the option of your vehicle not being covered or having piece of mind like me. Sure, it may raise your payment some, but it covers your vehicle and you are not out of pocket a bunch of money when you do not cover your butt. Moving to the service department, I hold in the utmost esteem for alaina, teresa, austin and jeff they are great!!!!! No question is ever to dumb to ask them even though you may think it is, they do not. They explain everything and work hard to service and take care of your vehicle as if it were their own. In other words, Coad Chevrolet in Cape Girardeau Mo is a outstanding and professional business that I highly appreciate and recommend to everyone. More

2014 Chevrolet Silverado Air Conditioner I brought my 2014 Silverado in because there were recalls, and the air conditioner stopped working. I was told the air conditioner could not be repai I brought my 2014 Silverado in because there were recalls, and the air conditioner stopped working. I was told the air conditioner could not be repaired or replaced that parts are not available, and they did not know how long it would take to obtain the parts. It has since been 3 weeks, the internet is full of 2014/2015 Chevy truck owners whose air conditioners have failed and there is no response from Chevy. The dealership could not tell me if parts are currently being manufactured to address the issue. I was also told if and when the parts are available, it will cost approximately $1000 to repair. I have a $30,000 truck with no air conditioning and no idea when or if it can be repaired or replaced. I have been looking for aftermarket parts and every time I find one on line, when I call or try to place my order, they do not have it in stock. There are no parts in the pipeline. This is a huge problem that Chevrolet needs to step up and address immediately. The customer service and quality of the parts from a company such as Chevrolet, is extremely disappointing. Needless to say, I will be shopping for a new vehicle, but it won't be a Chevrolet or GMC product. More
