Customer service is great. I spent a year looking for the right truck at the right price and Peter spent a lot of time helping me. Rarely have I visited a car dealership where the sales associate knew more about the vehicle I was interested in than I did. This was the case this time. Peter answered every question my daughter and I associate knew more about the vehicle I was interested in than I did. This was the case this time. Peter answered every question my daughter and I had. He volunteered valuable additional information we needed. I felt we were thoroughly versed on the Cruze. We were able to work out a compromise on pricing that suited both parties. I was needing Michael to reach a figure we needed to finance the vehicle and he was able to exceed I request. I couldn't be more please with our experience. It would behoove anyone interested in a Chevy purchase to contact Peter at Clinkscales. You can get a lot of preliminary work out of the way via email prior to the actual trip. I would expect any salesperson to be friendly. But professional to the extreme? Out of the ordinary. This young man's product knowledge was outstanding, as was shown by how well versed in the features professional to the extreme? Out of the ordinary. This young man's product knowledge was outstanding, as was shown by how well versed in the features, advantages, and benefits sales approach. The old car-salesman tactics of "sit here", "wait here", "do this" and "do that" were never used on us. Had his mother been watching and listening, she would have been very proud. And speaking of listening, he gave us all the information we wanted and needed AFTER he listened to what we wanted and why we were there. When we had found a few options, and said we were leaving to check out another dealer, there were no tantrums or last minute "discounts". Just a "thank you" for the opportunity. After our visit to the "big-city" dealer, we left confused, and aware of all the tactics they used to sell us a vehicle, any vehicle, not necessarily the one we wanted. We stopped for lunch, and agreed that a second visit to Clinkscales was what we wanted. After the sales manager, Edwin, verified a few of the questions we had after leaving the "big city" dealer. I offered him a handshake and a smile. Kind of like the one Peter had given us that day. It felt like we were at a family social, not a sales showroom. P. S. We love our Equinox, too. More
