Joe was very courteous, friendly, and worked quickly to get our vehicle into the service dept. I had just made a cross-country trip from northern California to compete in a dog competition in Athens, TN with my wife and two large dogs when I discovered a good amount of oil leaking from the diff California to compete in a dog competition in Athens, TN with my wife and two large dogs when I discovered a good amount of oil leaking from the differential housing of my 2003 Explorer. I know enough about cars to know this could be really bad, especially when driving long distances across mountains fully loaded and towing a trailer. I was desperate and it was a Friday before a long holiday weekend, plus I had to be at the competition the very next day. I called several places in town and luckily called Larry Hill Ford and spoke with Tony Burgireno. He told me to come in right away and he'd see what he could do. When I arrived, I explained my somewhat desperate situation and he said that even though they were quite busy, he'd work me in that day for an inspection and repair. Once they checked it out they found a seal was failing and I had rear wheel bearings that were on their way out too. Tony worked his magic with his team, got parts ordered for arrival early Saturday morning and even had it ready to go by 8:00am! It turned out that Mark, the mechanic, came in at 5:00am just to ensure he had time to get my vehicle fixed while not delaying any of the other 15 repairs that were ahead of me. Now that's INCREDIBLE service that goes beyond excellent! Thank you Tony, Mark and the rest of the Larry Hill team for saving me from near certain disaster on the trip home to California. I will be back for more dog competitions in the area next year and if we are thinking about a new vehicle, we are buying at Larry Hill! By the way, I also appreciated the warm reception my dog Tig received while waiting for the inspection...it may have helped him relax enough to win big at the competition as he took first place and won two additional awards! I stopped by Larry Hill just to get someone to look at my Escape because three lights on my dashboard had came on. Tony Burgireno came to talk to me about my situation. One light was my ABS light, so I was afraid I had no breaks and wouldn't be able to make it home. He informed me that my breaks would be good to go home but advised me to come back in the morning and he would have someone take me to work the next day. So the next day I pull up, Tony is talking to another customer but acknowledges me and tells me he will be right with me. He finally got to me and told me what they would do to my Escape and would call me that afternoon to let me know what was wrong. He calls me later in the afternoon to tell me that some kind of critter has been having dinner on the wires and sensors on my Escape. Needless to say we all had a good laugh about that. Tony was a great service associate. He was very knowledgable and very friendly!! I will definitely come back to see him when I need any other service done to my Escape. My overall experience at Larry Hill was great!! All the other associate that I ran into were also very friendly. More
Well while traveling to Stone Mountain, GA to go camping for the weekend with my pregnant wife (7 months), two dogs, and in-laws the fuel pump on my truck decides to quit at the BP in Ooltewah, TN....was fi for the weekend with my pregnant wife (7 months), two dogs, and in-laws the fuel pump on my truck decides to quit at the BP in Ooltewah, TN....was finally able to get a tow truck to take me to Larry Hill Ford in Cleveland, TN....we arrived at the dealership at 4:55 pm (they close at 5:00 pm) not to mention its friday and a holiday weekend...not only did they fix my truck but they stayed late on a friday and didn't charge me extra to do it! Its nice to know there are people who care about helping others! Thanks Mike Johnson (diesel tech at Larry Hill Ford) and Tony Burgireno! Mike could have easliy said see you on tuesday after the weekend, but he did not he showed great customer service but stopping what he was doing and fixing my truck and getting covered in diesel fuel in the process! Mike Johnson represented Larry Hill Ford as a great dealership and service department, I wish there were more dealerships and people like this! Came in for oil change and multi-point inspection. Told them my mustang had the cold shifting issue and to look at changing or replacing the synthetic transmission fluid. I have a metallic clang during moderate acceleration shifts and wasn't sure if it was the exhaust system. (I'm afraid it may be transmission related). Came back to pick up the car later that day and I was told to just let the gearbox heat up in regards to the shifting and could use my stereo while driving in regards to the metallic rattle and bring it back if it persists. There is a service bulletin from Ford on the cold shift problem: TSB 11-3-18 and they didn't change the fluid according to the work order. I dropped it off to get these things addressed while getting the oil change... They were very nice but I can get a oil change anywhere. I wanted the potential warranty things looked at in a serious way. I'm not angry but just disappointed. I realize sounds are hard to identify but all that was needed was to take the car out and drive it and they could hear it for themselves. The clang began not long after I purchased the car. I had it in on this before and nothing was found. Over time it has continued and gotten worse. More
While returning from a trip to Lexington, our vehicle quit running. Everyone at Larry Hill did everything to get us back on the road home. We could not been treated with more respect or concern for our welfare. They stayed late after the dealer was supposed to close to be able to get everything worked out. I wish to especially thank Brian Smith and Rob Folks for everything they did to help relieve our stress and assured us everything would be alright, and it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
