I saw a Grand Cherokee on Columbia CDJR, I inquired about it and stated that I wanted to look at it. Brent Hough, Sales Manager contacted me and I made an appointment for 9/7 at 4 PM. Soooo, long story, but beware before purchasing a vehicle from Columbia Chrylser Dodge Jeep Ram. I went in on Wednesday, July 27th and test drove this suv. After a couple of hours of waiting, the salesmen told me there was some type of issue with the system and to go home so I wasn't waiting forever and he would call when it got settled. Didn't get settle Wednesday. Thurs, July 28th The salesman I worked with was off of work, understandable. I called the dealership twice trying to get some information about my deal, see if they've made any progress and never received a call back all day Thursday. Fast forward to yesterday, Friday the 29th. I contact the salesmen who tells me I need to locate a couple of different documents and that I was approved with a down payment of $3,417. Ok, cool. The vehicle is listed for $19,245. Well after getting the documents and to the dealership, I give them everything but my left kidney at this point and don't mind because I get to drive that pretty car home! NOW, here's where it gets good. Justin, the finance guy, takes me into his office and it's time to sign my life away. He just starts going through wanting to get my signature. I say, "Wait, you haven't asked me if I wanted the service warranty or gap insurance." Justin, "Oh, that's already built into the deal." I said, "Well I don't want the warranty." Justin says, "Well Credit Acceptance REQUIRED it in order to accept the deal." WRONG! Warranties are optional, I also called Credit Acceptance and they verified. He then says, that he'll see if they'll still accept the deal without it..." Whatever. Next, he comes in and as soon as he turns the computer screen, I see the sale price as $22,×××.00. I say, "Wait a minute, that car is listed at 19, 245.00." He then tells me that Credit Acceptance is charging them $4,300 in bank fees and he had to add that to the sale price... Yes, the bank that is BUYING the car from THEM is going to charge them to give them a check.... what!? I said, "Well NO ONE told me until now that the price had even changed. Pretty much get no where and leave. TODAY when I spoke to Justin on the phone, he now claims the price is now 22,×××.00 for reconditioning fees... while also making the $4,300 bank fee statement. Sooooo... which is it?? Needless to say this guy has done nothing but lie and I'm insulted and didn't get to purchase this beautiful Expedition. I took this screenshot yesterday of the vehicle and price and now the car isn't even on their website. Of course.... More
