Avery Bush was nice at first but became very rude later. I felt like he was rushing the process and not explaining things clearly. When I kept telling him about what is my financial limit was, but he didn't listen and went with different offers that was out of budget. Then when we said no thank you on the initial loans presented, he crumpled the paper in front of us and his attitude changed drastically to non-caring. I was about to walk out due to this, but came to an okay loan. I kept presenting him the offer I got online, but he just shrugged it off and kept saying covid changed the game or something. He was trying to sell all the bells and whistles. I would not recommend on dealing with the finance department. But other than the finance department, everything else was good. More
BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES I previously owned a 2017 Honda Accord Coupe that had been paid off several years prior. I had looked into buying a new car but interest rates have been a bit ele owned a 2017 Honda Accord Coupe that had been paid off several years prior. I had looked into buying a new car but interest rates have been a bit elevated. As a previous VW owner (x3), I happened onto the website and came across a special, offering the 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan for 0% at 60 months. This sales strategy was to move the 2024 off the lot, as the 2025 Tiguan is set to release (I assume). I inquired on April 23rd, 2025 via the website, receiving a text message at 7:35 PM. My first text ended with, "Are you able to confirm the APR rates for the Tiguan models, in general? I have very good credit." On Thursday, April 24th, 2025, Haymes Badai (spelled incorrectly on website as Hayms Badai) texted "Goodmorning ! right now for our tiguans we are offering 0% for 60 months! How soon can you make it in today to take advantage of this promotion?" I stopped by with my friend on Friday, April 25th, 2025, and the purchase was conducted; little did I know, I would find myself in a bait & switch that will cost me nearly $8000 over the course of an 84 month loan - I repetitively inquired about the 60 month loan. Despite requesting to ask for him, upon arrival, I was informed by GSM Moe that Haymes (Hayms) was off. He paired me with Donnie Payten (spelled Patten on the professional website). Upon greeting me, I told Donnie that I wanted to specifically purchase the 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan for the special being offered, especially considering I have very good to excellent credit. Following a test drive, I asked Donnie "If I were not to qualify for the 0%, what would be the next best interest rate." Donnie promptly replied, 1.9% - which I was nonchalant about considering that is extremely low as well (worst case scenario). After running a hard credit inquiry, Donnie exclaimed "you qualified." The night continued, a continuous bartering of value for my trade-in, which is a scam in itself. My car was valued by KBB between $12500 - $14500. The first two offers were $7500 and $10500. After suggesting that I would take my vehicle to CarMax or private sell if I had to, they negotiated a final deal at $13500. Now knowing that I qualified for the 0% interest AND got what I was comfortable with on the trade ask, we moved forward and discussed monthly payments. I requested that Donnie run numbers for a down payment of $5000, $7500, and $10000. Keep in mind that I can pay the vehicle off in cash, but without interest, why utilize a large portion of funds. My goal was to get a payment within the $275 - $375 price point, each month. We got this situated, and I was passed on to Avery Bush in finance. He was a quiet spoken gentleman, who overall, was kind. My biggest fault was that I blindly signed under the false premise that Donnie closed the deal based on what we had discussed for the previous 1.5 hours. As I signed, Avery did not go over each document, just explained what each document was titled and where to sign. Following the transaction, I received no hard copy paperwork NOR an email with a copy. For weeks I was excitedly telling friends and family that I got the vehicle for 0% APR financing, as discussed and advertised. Without a credit score of 775, there was no reason to believe otherwise. I discovered the bait & switch when I had to call Volkswagen Park Cities to figure out how I can submit my first car payment, which was approaching. I was informed that my financing went through Capital One. That night, I received mail with my auto loan, which showed the total loan amount with 84 months and 7.28% APR. I immediately called the dealership. I explained the situation and was told that Donnie would give me a call back; he failed to do so. I called back the following day, no response by Donnie. I then requested to speak with the General Sales Manager, Moe Abunijmeh (spelled incorrect as Abunijimeh on website). Despite a few back and forth emails, he failed to reach out on nearly 12 times More
