On Dec. 27th my wife and daughter went to Clay Cooley in Duncanville TX after seeing an add on Dec 26 and calling to ask about it and set up a time to come i 27th my wife and daughter went to Clay Cooley in Duncanville TX after seeing an add on Dec 26 and calling to ask about it and set up a time to come in and look into buying the car that was listed online for $25,100. we even checked online before she left and it was still there for the same price as the day before. but when they arrived the price somehow changed to 30,000 how convenient that the price changed just before her appointment. she even had a picture of the add but she was told sorry cant help you at that price. The car in the add was still there but they wouldn't honor there own online pricing even with an appointment. so my daughter left. NOT A RELIABLE Dealership. The cars in question Was a Black Nissan Murano PC137670 price was $25,303 and a Pearl White one $25,422 both Midnight edition Just so unfair to have called about the car and asked to make an appointment to get the car the next day for the advertised price and tricked into coming in thinking you were going to get the car for the advertised price but it changed just before you get there! Not a good place to buy a car................................ More
Most deceptive, dishonest dealership I have ever been. Called ahead to see if they still had three cars the advertised on Autotrader. Was promised the did . When I arrived we were told all three brand new Called ahead to see if they still had three cars the advertised on Autotrader. Was promised the did . When I arrived we were told all three brand new cars had the fuel pumps go out sitting on lot. After an hour they found one but told me they don’t honor their advertised Autotrader sales price. This is a place I highly recommend to stay away from. More
To be clear, I did not buy a vehicle from Clay Cooley Nissan. Nor will I. I exchanged at least 3 maybe 4 phone calls with them trying to get an out the door price because they are a 3 hour drive away fro Nissan. Nor will I. I exchanged at least 3 maybe 4 phone calls with them trying to get an out the door price because they are a 3 hour drive away from me. The salesman was very evasive implying it would be the "low" price I saw on the website but would not give me a straight answer or written quote before I commit to the trip. Only after I said that every other dealer was willing to do this and the fact that they weren't made me believe they were trying to hide something did they finally give me an out the door price nearly $5000 more than the "low" website price. I think that price was a little bit lower than the competition but seeing as how they were not up front with it, I just don't feel like I can trust them. More
Their hotline to report concerns is a joke. E bought a new car and when we picked it up it was scratched. Sales guy told us he would call us to schedule repairs. Never got a call. We called the E bought a new car and when we picked it up it was scratched. Sales guy told us he would call us to schedule repairs. Never got a call. We called the hotline to report this and speak with a manager. Instead of the manager we were put on the phone with the same sales guy who failed to call us and nothing was resolved. More
This has been the worst experience for me. Cameryn Mitchell told me 7/28 I was approved for a 2023 Nissan Rogue. I drove 2 1/2 hours just to finalize paperwork and get my new vehicle. Upon arr Cameryn Mitchell told me 7/28 I was approved for a 2023 Nissan Rogue. I drove 2 1/2 hours just to finalize paperwork and get my new vehicle. Upon arrival Cameryn gathered my information and just started the paperwork process 8/4 (disappointing) after being there two hours she explained I needed a co signer. That was fine I just wish she would’ve told me that information 7/28 when I was approved. Fast forward to getting to view the vehicle. She walked me to the back to show me a 2023 Altima. I was so confused and annoyed why she kept trying to persuade me to get something I didn’t want. After that altercation she then showed me a rogue and ran the numbers. I was putting down 4000 and she told me my payments would be 733. Like how? Mind you she said I only needed a co signer because I didn’t make enough on my own with income (if that wasn’t true she should’ve never said it) . At that moment I should’ve just left but I drove 2 1/2 hours and my ride had to go another route I had no choice but to try something else. Fast forward to 5 hours later being at the dealership. Cameryn talks me into something used. Okay fine, I agree and is willing to compromise and pay a lower down payment/ monthly payment. She walked me to this 2022 Rogue. Then went to start the paperwork just to come back 20 minutes later it’s SOLD. I ended up getting a 2023 Nissan Rogue SV with a monthly payment of 630. It wasn’t at all what I wanted or felt comfortable getting, Cameryn and her manger advised me of the three day money back guarantee if I was not satisfied bring the vehicle back. Monday I did just that. I was suppose to get my refund from David in Accounting but I have yet to speak with him. They tell me something different every time I call. Cameryn never follows up with me about the matter. Please DO BUSINESS ELSE WHERE CLAY COOLEY IS NOT A PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS TO DO BUSINESS. They will approve you and once you get there things will change. More

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is full of criminals!! I was working with a salesman Edmin, after agreeing to payment and down payment I was told I was approved. About 15 This place is full of criminals!! I was working with a salesman Edmin, after agreeing to payment and down payment I was told I was approved. About 15 minutes later Edmin told me I needed a driver license. Keep in mind he had my ID the whole time. He knew I didn’t have a driver license! He then told me he would make me one for 100 dollars that he does it all the time. I’m not trying to commit crimes. I’m trying to buy a car! I told him I’m not doing that, he got upset and said that I couldn’t buy then! Should have known after reading prior reviews. I went next door to Kia and bought a car and didn’t have to do a crime. I will never go back here! Criminal acts and sexual harassment on top of it!! Buyers beware, especially if your a female! Avoid the guy with all the tattoos. Totally unprofessional! I will be going to the BBB and notifying the local police department that Edmin is making fake Driver license for customers! More
Where to start…. I originally wrote the following review on March 18th, 2023: “When submitting my application online, the out the door number was $32,207 with GA I originally wrote the following review on March 18th, 2023: “When submitting my application online, the out the door number was $32,207 with GAP. With a $2,500 down payment, I was only planning on financing $29,707. However, when I got the buyers order, the out the door number was $34,488.80, without GAP insurance. They tried to charge me $995 for "Connected and Protected" and $1495 for "Family Guarantee 3 Year Upgrade." They would not sell the car to me without these fees. Before submitting a credit application, Charles told me that there were no dealer fees or add ons... which was a lie. I originally acquired on the vehicle through CarGurus, which states, "Price includes Connected and Protected fee of $995," but they still tried to charge me for it. I also submitted my application at 5:45, but when I called to follow up at 7:30, they said the car was already sold.” A few days after I posted the review everywhere possible, the GM called me and told me that he wish I would have talked to him before posting my reviews. He went on to say that he would honor the original deal, but I would have to pay a destination fee or something like that. However, he told me I would have to remove all of my reviews. I agreed and did so. On March 25th, I purchased a new 2023 Nissan Altima SL. Today, June 9th, I went to go get a dent fixed on the hood of my car using Clay Cooley’s Family Guarantee. While I was there, the professional came in and asked, “Where did you get your hail damage repaired at?” I was awfully confused, as I bought my car new and it was not disclosed that my car had any prior hail damage. I asked the professional to clarify. He said, “As a dent professional, I can tell you that your car has had hail damage and they tried to fix it.” We ended up walking around the car together and we found a couple more spots, which he fixed for me, thankfully. I called the dealership and informed them that they sold me a car with hail damage. They said, “Well, we didn’t know. We got it from our sister store.” Nice excuse, but you sold me the car… not your sister store, so it’s on your store now. They asked me to come in and offered to fix the hail damage. I told them I was uninterested in this, as their “professionals” should have caught it when they took possession of the vehicle. I was also uninterested because the dent professional already took care of the dents for me, so they weren’t offering me anything that I didn’t already have. Shady, shady, shady. More
