I was in the market for a used either 3/4 ton or 1 ton diesel truck however where I was going to purchase this next truck was contingent on a lot of variables. I discovered a barely used '10 Dodge ram 350 diesel truck however where I was going to purchase this next truck was contingent on a lot of variables. I discovered a barely used '10 Dodge ram 3500 Dually with 2300 miles on AutoTrader listed with Don Davis Auto Group in which I thought there was not going to be very much flexibility price wise on the dealer's end, I was wrong. I started shooting e-mails to Walter and sure enough he replied to all of my e-mails within a very timely manner. We were able to negotiate a great price in my opinion and the value of my trade through email. Considering I live in Oklahoma & doing business out of state I thought there was no way they would give me a good trade number through email, however again I was wrong. My wife & I had this set-up to where we would take off work a little early on a Friday & head down to Arlington to finalize this deal, in the back of my mind I was thinking that this process shouldn't take very long considering we had all of the details worked out ahead of time, however I also know that when your physically at a dealership things can change & the arm twisting begins, not true. When we arrived at the dealership Friday afternoon, Syed & Walter had the truck parked in the rear "as sold" so we were able to jump in it & take it for a spin. After 1 mile of a test drive I was satisfied & wanted to get back to the dealership to get all of the paperwork finalized. Once we headed to the finance office I was thinking this is where they're going to try & get more money out of me, once again not so. Mike in the finance office was great, he didn't try & up sell us with any BS & explained to us everything we were signing. He also asked me how my banker in Oklahoma was going to pay off the trade & dealership however I was uncertain because my banker had left for the weekend. He filled out 2 buyer's orders that way my banker could choose the one he needed to use, this was done so my wife & I didn't have to make another trip down to Texas to sign some additional paperwork if my banker did not receive the right one he needed. Overall this was a very seamless transaction and hands down the best experience I have had at a dealership and YES I would recommend them to anyone for their next car buying experience, GREAT JOB GUYS....
