Just bring it in. Oh sorry busy. I called on Friday and Classic Toyota Service for needed service. I wanted to make an appt on Saturday my only day off. I said no appt necessary for this repair? "Nope just bring it in". So traveled from Wauconda to Waukegan Classic Toyota which was 45 minutes. Arrived at 11:30 AM. Service guy said too busy can't do it today. But I called. Sorry. Well they wasted half my Saturday. Now I know it happens to everyone because they won't take appts. I've decided now to never use Classic Toyota again for service. They have no consideration for customers. More
Great service dept Recently I took my van to the service dept at Classic Toyota. Bill King, the service manager helped me. I told him I have an issue with the rear wip Recently I took my van to the service dept at Classic Toyota. Bill King, the service manager helped me. I told him I have an issue with the rear wiper. He checked it out, had it fixed and did so in a short amount of time. Every time I go to Classic Toyota for service, I never feel like I'm going to have anything but a pleasant experience, and I have been going there for 10 years. Prior to that I was always very leery of dealership service departments because I rarely had a good experience. I am thankful that isn't the case with Classic Toyota. More
Car wash I bought a used 2014 Toyota Corolla S. 6 months ago ( March 2016 ). When everything all said and done I was told that if I ever needed a car wash any I bought a used 2014 Toyota Corolla S. 6 months ago ( March 2016 ). When everything all said and done I was told that if I ever needed a car wash any day of the week just bring it and they will take care of it for me. So, earlier this afternoon I called just to see if it's ok to bring the car for a car wash. I was told that they would have to run my plate so they could find out who the sales person was then they would wash the car for me. So I went. Today was supposedly my first time getting a car wash since the day I bought the car from them but guess what? I was denied. They told me that would only wash the car if I get any service from them. This is really unacceptable. Why tell the customer something if you can't honor it. Getting a free car wash is not the issue. Being nice to customers at first so would buy the vehicle and telling lies is the problem. Toyota is a proven vehicle and I was even planning to get another one from them. But after what happened today not only I won't recommend this dealership but I WONT EVEN BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM NOT EVEN A FILTER. More
Scratched the car, refused to help, and were rude! My wife had her 2010 Scion Xd serviced today at Classic Toyota After getting an oil change, she returned to her car to find the hood of her car and ro My wife had her 2010 Scion Xd serviced today at Classic Toyota After getting an oil change, she returned to her car to find the hood of her car and roof had fresh scratches. These are large and deep scratches that are obviously new (please see attached photos). When she brought this to the the attention of the service advisor, Jerry O.Brien and the manager they both told me they would not accept responsibility and were very rude to her. This is ridiculous and I am livid and my wife is upset. You just lost business from two loyal customers that have coming there for over a year. More
All they care about is getting your money I called 8/4/14 and spoke with the service dept. and asked them to remove the reverse beeps on my Prius which anybody used to be able to remove by a s I called 8/4/14 and spoke with the service dept. and asked them to remove the reverse beeps on my Prius which anybody used to be able to remove by a series of button combinations on the vehicle before Toyota made it required by the dealership to be removed. It can still be removed using a standard $20 ODB2 scan tool and a computer (just do a search for it online); however, I don't want to risk any damage or voiding the warranty so I called the dealership and they want to charge me $35 to do this process which takes less than 5 mins. That equates to $420 per hour if charging $35 for 5 minutes of their time to remove a feature that used to be free. I called corporate and they couldn't believe the dealership was charging me that either. But they said they give a certain amount of freedom to independently owned franchises and they can't make them do it for free. The worst part is that I bought my last car from them and when I told him that and he thought I was referring to my Prius he was all willing to help me and then he found out I was talking about my previous vehicle and back to sorry it will be $35 be exceptions. I am in the market for another business vehicle and I will not be purchasing it here that's for sure. More
Service manager has a bad attitude and refused to work on my car because I rated his service bad. I took my car for an Oil change and because my car was leaking hydraulic fluid, they did the Oil change becau my car because I rated his service bad. I only have 5000 miles on my car and is already leaking hydraulic fluid. More
