Dishonest and hustling behaviors Be aware! Talking over the phone with agreed price does not mean anything to them. The Out the door price will not be the same as soon as you walk Be aware! Talking over the phone with agreed price does not mean anything to them. The Out the door price will not be the same as soon as you walk into the dealership. I showed the manager, Kerry Law, the agreed OTD of 17,020 from our text messages and he flat out denied that OTD offer and came up with the new OTDs : 18,439 OTD with $1000 rebate and 19,480 OTD with 0% finance. Disappointed. More

We were approached by Nigel Birch and we told him we didn't want to waste his time. He asked us to come in and take some information, after looking at some vehicles we saw one that was right in our ballpark with all the options we wanted. The truck was at another dealership and had to be transferred to us for inspection and a test drive. It took a little longer than quoted for the truck to arrive. After looking it over and going for a ride we bit the bullet and signed some papers. There were a few issues on the truck to be corrected. An appointment was made for midweek and a loaner vehicle was given to us. The issues were corrected beyond what we expected in under a day with the exception of one item that is to be taken care of within a week. The finance manager Tom got us one interest rate at the time of signing and told us he would try and better it. Just as he said he would our rate dropped to a very favorable number. With the exception of having to wait a little bit to get the truck transferred and not coming through with one item our experience with this dealership has been excellent. As time goes on and maintenance or service is required I'll be sure to update. More
Bought a $122 part and asked for the parts breakdown I didn't buy a vehicle from them, and I'm glad I didn't. I bought my 4Runner from Chesapeake Toyita. However I did but a $122 part ther today and then I didn't buy a vehicle from them, and I'm glad I didn't. I bought my 4Runner from Chesapeake Toyita. However I did but a $122 part ther today and then asked if I could have the parts breakdown in case I have to remove additional parts. I was then told by the service rep that no such thing existed while she proceede to tell me I may have to remove the headliner to install the replacement part. I asked her why I would have to remove the headliner and she replied there was a acre showing in true diagram. So then I asked her, "I thought there wasn't a diagram and she told me she could t give it out because of liability issues. I shook my head and said to myself, I should have spent 30 minutes extra to drive to Chesapeake Toyota. More

Horrible Experience I purchased a vehicle from them 9/12/15. Two weeks later the finance manager, Tom Norfleet, called me and gruffly stated that I needed to come in and I purchased a vehicle from them 9/12/15. Two weeks later the finance manager, Tom Norfleet, called me and gruffly stated that I needed to come in and sign a new contract and pay him $500 as downpayment. I refused, he used some profanity and the call was ended. It is now almost a month later and the original deal still has not been funded. Priority also said they were paying off my trade in, that hasn't happened either-so now I have an unfunded auto loan looming over my head and my previous finance company hounding me for a payment on a vehicle I traded in!! I told Mr Norfleet I am done and want my trade in returned to me, he said the car has been sent to wholesale, but surprise, surprise, it is listed on their website as for sale!! Oh here's another interesting tidbit- I only authorized them to run my credit through one credit union and they have made a DOZEN inquiries with every finance company under the sun. Calls to the general manager, Matt Ellmer, have not been returned. Please reconsider before you interact with this company. Just check out their reviews and you will see, they are notorious for unprofessional and downright shady business practices. More
Higher than average prices, bad trade in values. I am not upset with the car, my sales person was great, but Priority still hasn't gotten my title to the bank. Which jacks my interest rate way up. I've been trying to call and get the situation corrected, but the manager at the Hampton location is completely unwilling to help. He actually started screaming on the phone that it wasn't his problem. The people he transferred me to are not knowledgeable enough to help. I don't think the manager is in the right career, he can't handle any stress or any issue that he can't make someone else fix. I wouldn't mind Priority Hampton, but the manager there just is not customer oriented or able to solve any problems. I'm sure his employees don't enjoy their increased workload because of his inability to perform basic tasks such as supervision. It's been almost 90 days and I've had to call multiple times and still not success. I keep hoping to get through to corporate, but no luck at all. More

Started hea I purchased a 2002 Toyota Camry as a gift for my 16 year old daughter on 7/16/15. Inspection was performed and passed at this dealership. Started hearing squealing noises about a week after purchasing this car. Contacted Priority Toyota Chesapeake on 7/24/15 at which time they asked me to bring it to their dealership on 7/27/15 since its closer to my place of employment. After taking a look at the car Service advisor at Priority Toyota Chesapeake informed me on 7/27/15 that Priority Hampton should not have passed the brakes as the brake pads measured 1/32nd inch which is less than 1 mm. Obviously this dealership is more concerned with selling cars than they are with the safety of their customers. Although this dealership authorized the replacement of the brake pads, after I notified the service manager, Dave Wallace of my concerns and plans to file a complaint, to be performed by Priority Toyota Chesapeake I would not recommend this dealership to anyone due to their dishonest and unsafe selling practices. I have no plans of returning to this dealership for any future service work/repairs. More
Excellent Our buying experience from beginning to end was a pleasurable experience. We anticipated something far less but never expected the welcome we received Our buying experience from beginning to end was a pleasurable experience. We anticipated something far less but never expected the welcome we received from our salesperson and the service provided by all involved in our purchase. Congratulations on creating the perfect atmosphere for purchasing an automobile. It is obvious that a lot of hard work and training has been invested by Priority and from our perspective it is a rousing success. More

Filled a claim with the BBB & sent emails but no response of any type. I finally called the salesman who showed me the car & he claims that the stickers show what would have come on the car if NEW but the sticker claims it is a feature of the car ON THE CAR. Also after the car was in my possession I was told by a mechanic that they looked at the repair made to the corner rear (drivers side) fender & it was only duct tape that was painted which is illegal & should not have passed inspection (cost over $700 to repair). This car was priced by the dealership at over $4500 and although I got the price down (my mechanic had found more than $1000 worth of repairs needed on engine, brakes, and tires) it still would have been worth far less than I got it for had I known all of this! My suggestion if you do look here is to get your mechanic to do an extensive check of any car (body as well as engine, brakes, and tires) and read the sticker to make sure anything listed as a feature really is on the car or go elsewhere!
