I've dealt with Matt several times over the last year. He's a phenomenal employee and his customer service is top notch. My 2018 HRV's engine noise was incorrectly diagnosed by Classic Honda as a serpentine belt tensioner pulley. A new pulley was installed. The noise continued and on a recent (11/10/2020) trip to the Denver Classic Honda as a serpentine belt tensioner pulley. A new pulley was installed. The noise continued and on a recent (11/10/2020) trip to the Denver Colorado area I visited Mile High Honda for an oil change. The service writer assisting me, Robert Rivera, asked that I return so that the engine noise could be properly diagnosed. I indeed returned two days later and in less than two hours the noise was diagnosed as " an issue where the oil pump journal and timing cover are not aligned correctly" The Mile High technician contacted the Tech Line and was informed of a known issue and a case was opened. This issue is going to require a new short block assembly and timing cover. I have lost all confidence in Classic Honda !! More
