I visited several dealers over the last two weeks. Two of the dealerships were horrible experiences being passed off and pushed around in to trying to take something off the lot that I didn't want. Colette treated me very well, we went on a test drive and she made sure that I was informed about all the intricacies of the vehicle. We arrived back and started reviewing the price. I knew that 2011's had much better incentives, we found out that the truck I test drove was a 2012. She immediately searched her inventory to find the 2011's that she had left, we looked them over, and I decided that they were not what I wanted, they didn't have the features or the color that I was looking for. She informed her manager, JJ, who took down some information on what options I was interested in. He returned to tell me that 2011 inventory was so low across the US that there weren't any trucks that met what I wanted on the east coast. We discussed the price of the 2012 truck I test drove and the price of the closest truck that was a 2011 that they had on the lot. They both stayed after hours to work with me. I left saying that I would have to decide and do some research. Several days later I was clued in to an American Express service and true cars.com. I emailed Colette with several of the trucks with options I was interested in. She responded with the dealer's lowest price, which was within my target range. She recommended that if I wanted this truck to put a deposit on it so no one else could take it. After discussing I agreed. Working with the dealership we managed to settle on a reasonable price for my trade ins. I have information regarding loans and extended waranty to hopefully negotiate a price on both, so far the service has been wonderful. Colette and JJ, as well as the GM Paul, have all been a pleasure to deal with, and have done all that they can to get me into the truck that I want at a price that is within my target range. I will most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new Ford in the future. More

Carl Vaughn was Great and very helpful but he was working against the circumstances created by the dealership. Despite having an appointment, the car wasn't ready for delivery. To avoid a 300 mile round trip just to have the splash guards and front license plate holder installed, I requested the items be sent to my home and I will need to pay extra for an installation that should have been done by Classic Ford. I had anticipated the car would be washed, full of fuel and ready to drive away upon my arrival. It wasn't. It was washed and fueled just before we were cleared to drive away. If Classic Ford was efficient, the paperwork should take no more than one to two hours. Our total time at the Dealership was nearly four hours because there was a lot of time just waiting with no activity. The questionable (and perhaps illegal) requirement (there is no option) that I purchase a $500 paint and fabric protection plan makes me angry. In my 60-plus years of owning cars, I have never needed such protection. My cars are kept in a garage and I wash and wax them regularly. We have no children or pets to mess up the fabric. I DON'T NEED AND DID NOT WANT TO BUY THIS PROTECTION! More

I was looking for a used Ford Crown Victoria and Classic Ford had one on their lot. I made contact with Carl Vaughn and asked about seeing the inside of car and the price. After bringing back my wife to look at it and Carl found out that this would be a cash sale he offered to see if his manager could approve a lower price....which he did. Carl got all of the paperwork together quickly and got signatures needed then escorted us to seating area to wait to see the financial officer. He also got the paperwork together quickly and when finished he escorted us back to front where Carl met us again. We made an appointment for the following day to bring the check for balance due and complete the sale. Everything was explained thoroughly and the car was gassed and cleaned and ready for us when we got there. It was a very pleasant experience. More

I called and spoke with Glenn about the electric problems we were having with our vehicle and he told me to bring it in and there would be a 95.00 diagnostic charge. Glenn told us that after doing the diagnostic charge they still could not find the problem and they would have to take the back seat out to get to the security system to see if that was the problem. He said it would be 95.00 an hr. I asked Glenn about how long would it take to take the seat out and to get to the security system and he said about 1hr. and I said it would take another hr. to put it back together not counting the time to see what the problem was. Glenn said that was correct and he said the guy that was doing this work was train in this area and he was sure this was the problem. I told him to go ahead even tho he told me the day before there would only be a 95.00 charge for diagnostics. two hrs. later he returns and told me and my wife to follow him. When we got to our vehicle they showed us where a couple of wires were broken in the door jamb. He said this could be the problem or not. I asked him how much this will cost and he said the time we had already put in and I did tell him to go ahead and fix it. Glenn came to us within 20 minutes and told us that it fixed the power window problem but not the other electric issues and they will have to remove the back seat to get to the security system (something they said they were going to do at the beginning of the second hr.)I asked Glenn again how long will it take them and he said 5 hrs. Wait a second he told me earlier it would take less time. I am thinking to myself this is costing more and more money and the only thing that they have fixed is the power windows. He told me we would need to leave it over night that they had two other vehicles to work on. Wait a minute we got there when he told us to and you telling me you have to stop working on ours to work on someone else vehicle that came after ours when you have God knows how many workers in the shop. Glenn then told me that our vehicle had ran out of gas. Me and wife just put gas in it. We told Glenn that the gas gauge stop working when all the other electric things has stopped working. He told me to go get gas because they had to move my vehicle to work on others. I told him I would but, it was not out of gas. They had a guy to come pick me up and take me to the gas station. When we got back I put the gas in it and it still would not turn on. The shop foreman came over and checked it out and he said it was getting fuel. I went and found my wife and told her, then Glenn came and told me they got it started after I left there was a shortage where the fuel reset button is located. Glenn asked me what I wanted to do and I ask him to give me a few to see what we wanted to do. We decided to take it to another Ford dealership since they seem to not know what the problem was. They charged us 285.00. The thing that gets me is that we should not have been charged 285.00. Glenn told me they were going to take the back seat out where they could get to the security system on the second hr. after the first hr. of diagnostics and when they could not find the problem. I told them on the second hr. they could go ahead and take seat out and look at the security system but, no they took 2 hrs. to tell me they found a broken wire in the door jamb that only took them 20 minutes to fix. There is no way you are going to tell me that it was ok to charge me for two hrs. for something that only took 20 minutes to repair and you know it did not take that long to find it, when you were supposed to be checking the security system. I called the service department when I got home and a lady answered and I told her I wanted to speak with a manager over the service department and she told me to give her some info. of what was going on where she could direct me to the right person. I said you are the lady that works and the bay and she said yes. I told her the situation and she said she would get someone to call me back. I got a call and it was Glenn wanting to know what was going on and I told him I wanted to speak with someone over him. The lady knew I was complaining about Glenn and went straight to him...go figure. I got a call from the department manager and he stared off by telling me to save him and me time that I got my vehicle serviced and they found the problem....no no and no you did not find the problem except for the power windows. He had the nerve to tell me he would not had taken my vehicle if he knew it had 150,000 miles on it and with all the problems and I should take it back to the dealership I purchased it from..he much as called our vehicle junk. The sad thing is where I purchased the vehicle recommend me to go there for the repairs. He told me that they spent to much time on my vehicle, he said they had it for four hours and only charged me for three. Yes it was there for four hours but, we had to go get gas and Glenn gave us time to talk about what we were going to do which this added up to an hour. I asked to speak with the person over him and he told me it would not do any good. I kept trying to tell him they were not being fair to charge me for three hours doing something opposite to what they were telling me what they were going to do. They lie to me from the beginning. The department manager even said the 95.00 diagnostics test would applied to any repairs. I told him they repair the power windows...so in this case I should only been charged for 2 hrs. He was very rude to me and treated me as if I was dirt. I told him I would be spreading the word about them and this is what I am doing. 285.00 and all I got was power windows fixed. More
