Travis Johnson met me on the lot, and very low keyed, graciously showed me numerous vehicles and options, even though I told him about my cousin's dealership. Travis was able to show me the exact vehicle I was looking for, with all the options I wanted, but out of my price range. Later that day, I visited my cousin's lot and saw an almost identical vehicle - a year OLDER, without a couple of major options I wanted (4x4 and sunroofs). While trying to determine which one to purchase, Travis was able to work some magic and get a few more thousand off the original price I was quoted. I have purchased many NEW and USED vehicles over the years. I have never had a sales team work so hard for MY interest, while being so low pressured. Even after purchase, they were able to add remote start to my Explorer while I waited, for under $400! I definitely recommend Crossroads Ford in Shelby to anyone looking for a dealership that treats you like family. I must note, that the Dealership my cousin works at was also very, very friendly and helpful - even when I did not choose their vehicle - they advised me that the deal I received on the vehicle at Crossroads was a very good deal. Everyone on the sales team was extremely polite and cordial. Karen helped me through the whole process and was a delight to talk to. The finance manager, Nathan, was excellent to work with. You could tell he knew what he was doing and he kept my interest as top priority. Nathan was the reason I went through with the purchase. Full disclosure, the only reason I gave 4/5 stars was because the negotiation of both the value of my trade and the price of the new vehicle left something to be desired. I am not sure if it was tactics or ignorance but every question I asked had to be relayed between the sales representative with whom I was interacting with, and a sales manager on the other side of the room. This made for a lengthy afternoon of back and forth to get to a mutually agreed upon price. I would recommend Crossroads of Shelby to anyone looking to trade in a vehicle. They have a great selection, cordial staff, and top of the line facility. More
