After trying this one dealership that claim they work with all types of situations (college students, first time buyers, credit issues, etc...) I was going to stop looking because they tried to get over with all types of situations (college students, first time buyers, credit issues, etc...) I was going to stop looking because they tried to get over on me, but I came across a car at Classic Ford Lincoln of Columbia and the first sales agent I talk with was ready to help me anyway he could; so I said to myself, "here I go again" However, this dealership stood by those things I've listed above! Classic Ford Lincoln of Columbia is unlike any other dealership I've been too or heard about. They really are customer first and not just all about a sale! It's good to know being a woman I can get a car on my own without having to worry about getting cheated or sold a Lemon (some call it)! If I had to do the experience all over again I would in a heartbeat! The sales team, finance team, receptionist, and staff in general were all friendly and made my First-time Purchase a memorable one and I just want to Thank the entire staff and department! Kudos to this establishment!!! Ladies if you need a car I recommend you go to Classic Ford Lincoln of Columbia because they are Honest! I was told that i could get a vehicle that was brought in I was told that i could get a vehicle that was brought in at an out the door price with the ability to get 36 month financing for zero percent.When I was told that i could get a vehicle that was brought in at an out the door price with the ability to get 36 month financing for zero percent.When i got to the finance dept i was told i couldn't get the 36/zero because my rebate would be less and i would have to pay 2000 more for the truck. They said that the financing was not part of the deal. So, i said if i pay cash will you sell it for the agreed upon price. They said no 1000. more. They also said they were not working for Ford motor co rather Classic ford of Columbia. They weren't in the finance business. I along with the finance manager signed an affidavit that the vehicle had 5 miles on it. When i figured out how to bring the odometer up much to my surprise there were close to 500 miles on vehicle.When i got home after the sale i emailed my salesman and asked that he froward my message to the finance manager and have him contact me. I have yet to hear back from him. I am not upset with ford co but will never deal with classic ford of Columbia or any other company affiliated with them. I will not recommend them to any of my friends or business associates . If i were hired by the ford motor company board of directors to "shop there stores to evaluate" I would have the management of this store fired immediately and replaced with ethical professionals that don't mislead there customers to get a sale. I own thousands of share of ford motor company and have been buying gm trucks for years and decided to switch to ford since there company had done a remarkable job staying out of financial trouble during the recession that put other car companies in trouble. I wish Mr Henry Ford was alive so i could have a conversation with him about the people that represent his brand. More
Addie Mack was friendly, courteous, organised and knoledgeable. The dealership is clean and everyone is friendly. If I had to make one complaint it would be that after I bought my car I don't get a r knoledgeable. The dealership is clean and everyone is friendly. Also, I've been waiting almost 3 days now to hear back from Aeris about a extended warrenty question that I have. All in all: I have looked at pretty much EVERY dealership in the Columbia and surrounding areas. And even some "roadside" car dealers. Classic Ford is deffinately the best of the rest. No other dealership comes close to the value, customer service, and quality that they provide. But after all...they are a Ford dealership...there is nothing that compares to a Ford. I got my first one at age 17. That 1977 Mustang Cobra II is still my favorite car, followed closely by my 1993 Escort that I still cherish. More
Classic Ford was great! I never felt pressured to buy and they got me the payment I neede. The Fusion is awesome! I had just arrived from Iraq Tired, frustrated, and SLEEPY But Brad didn't let any of these things hinder him from being professional, friendly, kind or patient. He is an energetic and respectful young man. I already knew what I wanted which helped and I believe that Brad is a great asset to this company. My experience was suprisingly very pleasant with the Classic Ford Lincoln Dealership, which is why they get very high scores from me. I am VERY skeptical when it comes to car salesman and I actually dreaded having to go into the dealership to meet with Mr. Peoples. But I really needed to purchae another vehicle so I had no choice. From the moment I stepped out of my old car to the time I got into my new vehicle everyone at Ford of Columbia was friendly and very helpful. They really were. Mr. Peoples went above and beyond in giving me the best customer service I have ever had. He was very knowledgeable and he actualy listened to what I was looking for and what I had to spend. He got me into a very nice vehicle and I can't thank him enough. The finance Manager was awesome, I was a little nrevous going into the office to do my paperwork - finance people are not always the friendlist people, but he was actually very funny and he made me feel oquite comfortable during the process. I would highly reccommend Sylvester Peoples as a salesperson for anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. As well as referring people to Classic Ford Lincoln of Columbia on Greystone Blvd. They really are awesome!!!! More
We rated the dealership as great because of the serice that Aj Murray gave us and how easy he made it in acquiing our new F-150 truck. My experience with Classic Ford Lincoln of Columbia has been extremely frustrating and I am very unhappy with my experience. Despite numerous phone calls to both the salesman and manager I am still waiting been extremely frustrating and I am very unhappy with my experience. Despite numerous phone calls to both the salesman and manager I am still waiting for the dealership to follow through on its promises. For example, I was told that an employee was going to stop by one day and put the emblem on my car and fix my license plate (that was incorrectly put on my car) at purchase. No one ever came by. In addition, I was told by a manager prior to purchasing the vehicle that the car had new tires. After I purchased the car I received a copy of the 60K mile maintenance that was done while the car was still at the dealership and it was noted the car needed new tires - this information was withheld from me. More
Gavin was a very friendly, informative and knowledge sales rep. There was no pressure on his part which I greatly appreciated. He appeared to be honest, eager to please and reliable.
