There was never a sense of urgency, which was extremely frustrating!!! We waited for pictures for an hour and a half. Then the cherry on top, the car smelled like smoke when it arrived from Ft Mill at 8:30pm, at which we had already signed paperwork. I understand the form I signed stated if the dealership was UNABLE to fix any flaws, I would be able return the car with no questions asked. Victor assured me that when I came back this week ( another 4hr round trip)your detail crew would "bomb" the car, detail it and that would remedy the cigarette smoke smell. I have two concerns. First, what if the deodorizer works temporarily and I am stuck with a car that smells like smoke? Second, I want reassurance that if the smoke smell is not eliminated within 30 days that I can return the car back with no questions. I want this to be a better experience, but I see no signs. More
We found a car on the internet for sales a Classic Ford in Columbia, SC, listed as a 2000 BMW 528i "Premium" with 130,000+ miles for $7900.00. We drove 1.5 hours to check it out. First, we couldnt even ge in Columbia, SC, listed as a 2000 BMW 528i "Premium" with 130,000+ miles for $7900.00. We drove 1.5 hours to check it out. First, we couldnt even get into the car because it had been sitting there so long the battery went dead. We discovered on a BMW, if the battery is dead the doors will not unlock. The salesman was dumb founded. The battery is in the trunk and they had to charge the battery to get the car open. Next, they couldnt open the hood. Took many tries to figure out how to open the hood so we could inspect the engine. The car drove nice, but when we inspected it further we found issues. First, one of the most basic routine maintenance items is changing air filters. This car has two of them, when I opened them, I could not believe the "pile" of leafs and dirt under the filter. The headlights had water in them and the seals around them were dry rotted and cracked. Two check engine lights on the dash. The tires were low on air. Obviously the car had been sitting for a while. We explained that these items would have to be fixed before we would buy the car. The dealership explained that the car had already been to BMW of Columbia where they spent $800 to get items repaired, and that they would send it back to BMW to get it fixed. I still cant believe at this point no one has checked the air filters. What else didnt they check? So we leave and in a couple of days the salesman calls back and states that the car is back and the check engine lights are off. My wife asked, if they also fixed the headlights and replaced the air filters. The salesman stated that everything had been taken care of. The salesman wanted my wife to drive back down there that night just to sign a paper stating we would buy the car. He explained they have not had the car long and he has had other people call about the car but told them he was holding it for us. If your going to post the car fax on the internet, dont lie about how long you have had the car because you can trace the purchase dates on the report. On our next day off we drove back to the dealership, 1.5 hours away to look at the car again. Again, the battery is dead, the headlights still full of moisture, the air filter compartments had been cleaned out, but the filters were not changed and this time there was a half burnt cigarette lying in the console of the car from where someone from the dealership drove it back from the BMW dealership. We asked the salesman why they didnt fix the headlights, he stated that he was told "We have to much money in this vehicle we can not put anymore money into it and sale it for the this price". At this point Im ready to leave. I asked to speak with the General Manager. When he comes out I explain the experience we have had and ask if this is normally how they do business. Of course he states no and wanted to know who stated they wouldnt fix the car. I told him what the salesman told us and the salesman chimed and stated I did not say that, I said we couldnt replace the headlights, I didnt know the battery needs replaced (really?). So the GM makes some calls, comes back and states that he will fix the headlight and replace the battery, but he will not come off the asking price of the car. The book value of this car (as listed) is $7,300 so I explain that he is trying to sell the car over book value and it has all these issues. At that time, he explains, oh no, that the car is not a "premium package" as listed on the ad, it is actually a "premium and sport package" so the value of the car is actually more than the asking price. At this point we were done. This is why people hate buying cars from a dealership. I cant believe Ford would allow such a unprofessional establishment to have its name on the building. Im 42, have bought many cars in my life and this is by far the poorest excuse for a dealership I Have ever dealt with. More

She was awesome To Whom it may Concern, On May 4,2011 I had taken a friends car into be service,Becky Griggs. Micky was the Service Personal contact. She was awesome. She kept me notified on everything dealing with the car.I have requested her to be my Service personal when I need to have mine serviced. When I was waiting for the car to be serviced i was walking around the parking lot wasting time. Thomas Boyles approached me making small talk. Before I knew it I was test driving a car. Then taking it to my husband to look at. During the test drive Thomas was very fun and pleasent to ride with and very knowledgeable of the car. However we as most people are on somewhat of a budget. That is were Stan comes in. He was able to help out so I was able to afford the car and work with my trade in. Thomas did go out of his way to work with me. Getting information that I had requested.Skipping his lunch to take care of me. Going out of his way to go by my schedule. The staff there was wonderful and very friendly. I would recommend someone to visit your company for sales and for service. And most defintley Thomas Boyles. You do have a wonderful sales staff there. Thank you Thomas. Sharon Lindsey More

The porcess was very fair which was important to me because due to economic reasons I was looking to down-size my vehicle. The staff there especially Bill and JJ, went above and beyond to assist me and my wife and enable us to get the right vehicle at a fair price for us. Thanks so much! More
