The process was way to slow with involvement from multiple persons ans waiting on folks to get me numbers on interest rates etc. I had worked thru the internet because it usually expedites the process when arriving at the dealership. I brought a check for $10,000.00 with me as a deposit and was ready to buy when I got there. I do not like the practice of your dealership adding in Services(Meridian) arbitrarily to the sale price. I did not need this nor was I nterested in it. Its your business and your right to run it like you do, but it incoveniences the customer in the long run. More
Mr Thomas Hardy and Morris Smith are very high caliber salemen. Both went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and were more concerned with our comfort level than anything else. My husband had been looking on the internet and talking with Bill on the phone for several days. We were looking to trade our Lincoln MKX for the Lincoln MKZ car. I have been driving a Lincoln for around with Bill on the phone for several days. We were looking to trade our Lincoln MKX for the Lincoln MKZ car. I have been driving a Lincoln for around 10+ years. We made an appointment for a paticular time and actually arrived thirty minutes earlier. Bill had no problem taking us earlier than originally set up. Bill first showed us on paper that Classic Ford could indeed take our original vehicle on a trade and be able to keep us in the range of price he and my husband had originally discussed. We proceeded to go outside in the 100 degree plus heat and started looking at the cars. Bill let us look at several cars, had us get into the car and let me look around, check all the bells and whistles; I proceeded to tell him that I did not like the amount of leg room in the front or back but believing that we had already established that we were getting a car, I went on back in. Bill realized that I did not want a car but wanted another SUV, when you get use to driving an SUV and the space you have inside, going to a car is certainly quite a change. Needless to say, we finally made a decision on a SUV at around 9:00 that evening. Addie Mack then took over while Bill went and filled the vehicle up with gas. Addie was very patient with us did not seem to be in a hurry and we went through the paperwork. We did not leave the dealership until around 10:00 that evening. Bill nor Addie seemed to be in a hurry as they both went through this long process with us. I was actually surprised when Addie said at the end that he would take us back to Bill. This was the most pleasant experience I have had in getting a new vehicle at a car dealership. My husband normally handles all this and usually the only part I have to be involved in is possibly signing some paperwork at the end. As a matter of fact, I have already recommended Bill and Classic Ford to my daughter who is looking for a car. I know these gentlemen will take good care of her should she decide to visit them. More
My Internet Sales representative Joshua Putnal, has consistently demonstrated a high level of Customer Service. Josh's patience with me, understanding of my requests and needs, the processing of my Trade-in of the 2010 F-150, Helping me to select and do the processing for purchase of two vehicles (a new and a used) and preparing them for delivery, one the same day, and the second vehicle to arrive in three days or less. He explained the necessary processes and answered my questions to my satisfaction. When I would ask for verification of pricing, Joshua provided it using not only using the USAA data, but also data from other multiple internet sites. I appreciated his willingness to not push me into a deal, instead he invested himself by taking the time to explain, receiving my feed-back, helping me to select providing me the benefits, and product knowledge, and in doing so, has provided me confidence and satisfaction through every decision process. I greatly appreciated Joshua's respect and service towards wife and myself! I would seriously consider trading-in our vehicles around 36,000 miles, coming back to Classic Ford, and having Mr. Joshua Putnal again be my sales representative! Thank you Josh! The experience I had at Classic Ford was not stressful like at other car dealerships we visited especially since we were not sure exactly what type of vehicle to purchase for our daughter. I personally know Raheim and I knew that he would be the perfect person to see to purchase a vehicle because of his determination and energy. I went on a Saturday around 0930, after visiting an unamed Honda dealership. When I arrived all of their salesmen were outside and after I parked I was greeted immediately (I walked around Honda for a unamed Honda dealership. When I arrived all of their salesmen were outside and after I parked I was greeted immediately (I walked around Honda for about 15 minutes and no one came out to talk to me). They worked with me to get me into the model I wanted; in the price range I wanted; with the downpayment I wanted, and accomplished it all before lunch. So now I'm in a brand new car, in which only I and the few people that may have test driven it have used it. I am a proud owner of a 2011 Ford Fiesta Sedan. They filled up the tank, washed it, and helped me get my personal items out of the trade-in. More

Everyone at Classic Lincoln Ford that I worked with was extremely courteous, personable and knowledgeable. I spent most of my time with Bill Goshorn who was very patient as I walked from one vehicle to ano extremely courteous, personable and knowledgeable. I spent most of my time with Bill Goshorn who was very patient as I walked from one vehicle to another asking to view the interior of each one in the hot sun. After two hours, I was ready for a test drive with a Ford Explorer. With each model, Mr. Goshorn was very knowledgeable down to every little detail. His expertise really came out in the checklist report before the customer drives away with their new car. The technology in new cars is unbelievable and Mr. Goshorn knew it all. He set up my phone and had me make a phone call before I left. The offer to assist did not stop there. Mr. Goshorn said he was just a phone call away or a stop away and said that there were many people who could help me if he was not available. Mr. Goshorn even made sure that I met the folks in the Service Dept., where to come for my first oil change, and which lane to pull into. One more memorable thing that I want to share is the ringing of the gong. Every customer who purchases a vehicle is asked to participate in the clanging of the gong. After the gong sounds, everyone in the showroom applauds and cheers. This tradition is special. Things like this separate dealerships from others. I am over HR in my work so I know good practices when I see them. Teamwork, collaboration, knowledge, genuineness, and vision...they were all present as I observed and experienced my time with Classic Lincoln Ford of Columbia, SC. More
