I gave all 5-great ratings, because both Mack & Michael treated us as if we were the only customers in the show room. Mack the Sales Rep. was very patient, as we looked at 3 different models, a MKS, MKZ and a Taurus. There was no high pressure selling tactics. This is a pet peeve of mine ( hi pressure selling ), I probably would of walked away if that was the case. Mack gave us his cell phone number and told us to call him any time of the day, if we had issues. More

I was lucky enough to be hosted by Rico Gibson who committed to me that he would find me the appropriate car at the appropriate price. Within a week, I was behind the wheel of my new car. Once I visted Classic Ford, I just sat back and let them do the work. I love my car and I had a wonderful experience with both the sales staff and the accounting folks (Anthony). I can only hope that the customer servivce I received in sales is matched with the same friendliness and integrity that is have received so far because i plan to use Classic Ford for maintenance of my "new" Mustang. Everything was great from the moment I spoke to the receptionist at the front desk. Hope introduced me to Nicole (sales representative) and an exceptional experience was in the making. The people that receptionist at the front desk. Hope introduced me to Nicole (sales representative) and an exceptional experience was in the making. The people that nurtured my visit from beginning to completion were warm and friendly, extremely courteous, knowledgeable about the automobiles, and sensitive to my financial needs and desires for purchasing a vehicle, and they were diligent in their efforts to get me the best possible deal with incentives. In fact, when Nicole came to tell me they could not get the vehicle I had selected within my price range, she had already taken the initiative to find that same vehicle (color and interior) with fewer upgrades (bells and whistles) for me to review and consider as an option. Then, I was most impressed with the general manager who came out to reassure me that they could help me find a vehicle and encouraged to take a look at the cars then come back and let him work out the details. And belief me, he worked things out perfectly for me. I got a brand new 2013 Lincoln MKS with all the upgrades (bells and whistles that were important to me) at a very reasonable price and monthly payment. Well Done!! Thumbs Up!! Keep Up the great work!! More
I had an excellent experience at Classic Ford. I traded my 2003 Kia Sedona for a 2012. Classic Ford had the best price in a 200 mile radius on the vehicle I was looking for and also gave me top KBB dollar my 2003 Kia Sedona for a 2012. Classic Ford had the best price in a 200 mile radius on the vehicle I was looking for and also gave me top KBB dollar on my trade in. Jason, my sales person was extremely friendly and very helpful. Any question I asked that he didn't know the answer to he went and got the right person who new. When we test drove the vehcile Jason noticed it was out of alignment and had a realignment done on the spot while letting me take my trade in to get lunch. My only reservation about Classic Ford was the $499 Millenium Package and $399 Doc fees added to the cost of doing business. I understand the doc fee but the Millenium Pkg was an unwanted add. The staff was happy to reduce that by $300 to keep my business. The icing on the cake was when I left my garage door open and Ipod in my trade it. Jason dug them out and had them promptly mailed back to me the next day. All and all one of the better car buying experiences I've ever had. More

The customer service experience I had should be used as the model for any industry! Mr. Jenkins was uniquely accomodating, informative, friendly and professional. He had experienced a very troublesome personal experience the evening before allowing him no sleep and resulting in his contracting a severe cold. Even without considering this he provided outstanding personal service over and above what I would normally expect. Mr. Price was as equally accomodating, albiet without the cold and personal issue. I was further impressed by Mr. Prices' outgoing, friendly demeaner, and the responsible approach to his duties. More
I work in management for a large Pharmacuetical company who is a Ford X-Plan partner (our fleet contract is with Ford). Theoritically, this makes me a preferred customer. I've recently been promoted so m who is a Ford X-Plan partner (our fleet contract is with Ford). Theoritically, this makes me a preferred customer. I've recently been promoted so my fleet vehicle, a Ford Escape, will need to be replaced in 3 weeks by a car I purchase. I have A+ credit. I love the Ford Explorer. I do not, however, think the same of CLASSIC FORD. My experience with Classic Ford epitomizes every consumer's negative perception of car dealers. They put their interests--the need to sell a car--ahead of mine. They SOLD me, using all the tricks of the trade. Facts were misreprented. The deal was miscommunicated. The incentives were sold as "one of a kind" and time-sensitive, when the Ford website communicated otherwise. They did everything they could to get me to buy for fear, in their own words, that I would "walk out and buy from another dealer." Shame on them for their pushy tactics. Shame on me for letting them do so. Perhaps the most alarming statement made during my car-buying nightmare was offered by Mike Humphrey, the Business Manager. He pressed hard to get me to purchase an extended warranty. When I declined, I realized I was refusing to purchase a package that provides direct financial incentives to the Mike. It's where he makes his "sales" dollars. In an effort to scare me into the warranty, he emphasized, "THEY DON'T MAKE CARS LIKE THEY USED TO!" I was stunned! A Ford dealer telling me the quality of the product had diminished so much so that the standard manufacturer warranties are inadequate to cover me when the poorly manufactured product prematurely breaks down. I couldn't help but laugh when he said it. I didn't need to buy until March 14th -- so they promised to date the contract 3/14/13. It was 2/22/13. When I finally got to Mike, he had actually dated the contract 2/28/13 and told me they were going to make my first payment for me on 4/14, a "special, one-time offer" because they wanted to make me happy by honoring my timeframe. When I visited the Ford website later that evening I learned the offer to make the first payment is available to anyone who takes possession of a new car before April 1, 2013. The next morning I returned to the dealership to discuss my dissatisfaction with the salesman, Bob Eason, and sales manager, William Dogget. When I told them I was unhappy with the arrangment made the previous day I said, "Despite the unfortunate events of yesterday, I want to buy a car from you. If you want to deal straight with me I will buy. If not, we can void the deal and go our separate ways. " At that time the sales manager got up from the conference table, rushed to his office, got the paperwork and wrote "VOID" on my deal. When I enquired, "So am I correct in saying that you would rather void the deal than deal straight with me?" He said, "I'm doing what you asked." To be clear, I didn't ask him to void the deal. I simply stated my intentions to buy if they would deal transparently and honestly with me. They chose to void the deal. I regret the experience with Classic Ford. Fortunately for me, my contract was voided and I will buy a Ford Explorer from a dealer who will allow me to buy rather than be sold. My concern is for others who may fall victim to selling tactics that give all sales people, particularly those in the automobile industry, a sullied reputation. More

He is an excellent employee who represented the company well. When it was time to finalize the paper work, Mr. Humphrey was very patient and that impressed me so much because I was the last customer for that night. He made the process so easy and I enjoyed talking with him. I admired and appreciate their honesty and (Mr. Gibson and Mr. Humphrey) their untiring effort to make my dream come true. I excited about my purchase and also I am looking forward to enjoying my vehicle. I would recommend Classic Ford of Columbia to anyone who is looking for a vehicle. More
