AMAZED I purchased my previous vehicle from Bob Bennett Ford in 2001. I knew when i did some research it had become Classic Ford. My intentions said give t I purchased my previous vehicle from Bob Bennett Ford in 2001. I knew when i did some research it had become Classic Ford. My intentions said give them a try. Maybe my salesmen was still present? When arrived to Classic Ford, I was greeted by a young man, His name was Ethan. I explained to the salesmen I wanted a 2016 Explorer. This young man Ethan encouraged me to drive the new Explorer. I told him how safe I felt in my Explorer. His reaction "I'm very glad you feel safe let me show you all the benefits of the new one you are going to be AMAZED." Sure enough he might as well build the Explorer, he explained all functions of exterior and interior. The presentation reminded me why I loved my Ford Explorer. Needless to say I am glad I returned couldn't have asked for anything to be different. Thank you dearly Mr. Ethan on assisting me on my new 2016 Ford Explorer XLT More

I purchased two vehicles from them and both experiences were awful. The purchasing experience was a nightmare. they promised me added incentives and when it was time to retrieve them they suddenly came down with a case of amnesia. After all of my complaints they tried to gain back my business by stating that they changed management and staff and was willing to put me in a newer vehicle to right their wrongs. Needless to say this didn't go smoothly either. They lost all of the paperwork and had to come 45 miles to my house to have me do it all over again.On top of that I sold the last vehicle that purchased from Classic and I went in to the dealership to cancel my warranties and get a refund and here we go again 3 weeks later and I still don't have my refund. I called them several times and still have not received a return call. So I went to the dealership I found out that the refunds were not processed and they lost all of the paperwork. They have awful business ethics I'd rather work with zoo animals than do business with them again. More

Calling for status update every couple of days, each time they said it would be two more days before they could look at it. After a week I called the service mgr, no response, called GM no response. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP IS YOU WANT SERVICE. Had truck towed to another dealership. More

I pulled over in an attempt to let the engine cool off but the salesman insisted that we drive back to the dealer immediately. I let him take over and when I commented that by driving the car back we could be severely damaging it he replied "I dont care it's Ford's car and if it gets damaged they can fix it under warranty".... Does this sound like someone who cares about the Customer that eventually purchases the vehicle? Does this person care about the reputation of Ford or of the dealership? I leave it up to you to decide... I know I will not purchase anything at this dealership.... More

The sales person Ronnie Tyler was professional found the model I wanted and made it affordable . He took the time to explain the functions of the vehicle , pared the phones as well . WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! READ THIS REVIEW IN ITS ENTIRETY! My son and I both purchased cars from them at the beginning of December. We are not from Columbia. I live 40 miles away and he is stationed 3 hrs. awa My son and I both purchased cars from them at the beginning of December. We are not from Columbia. I live 40 miles away and he is stationed 3 hrs. away. Initially the sales experience was great. We liked the Salesman/Lincoln Brand Manager, Mack Spain, and the Finance Manager, Jarrah "JJ" Jordan. HOWEVER, once we left the lot with our cars it turned into a nightmare that is still ongoing...TWO MONTHS LATER!!! We both had temporary tags through 1-19-16; also, the date my sons first payment was due. I just received my tag five days ago. My son has yet to receive his tag or registration and it is now TWELVE days after the expiration date of his temporary tag. THIS is where the story gets ludicrous. I have been calling since 1-16-16 and was told, at first, they would over night new temp. tags (WHICH IS ILLEGAL), but that never happened, anyway. I was bounced back and forth from sales to finance, but finally got the only helpful person there and, of course, I can't remember her name, but she told me the VIN # on my sons car was mixed up with another and they knew this three weeks prior to this call, but WE WERE NEVER TOLD. She said he would need a rental car until it was cleared up. She said someone would call me back ASAP. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I left countless messages/voicemails for JJ and Mack, begging someone to just tell me what's going on, but my messages and questions went unanswered. Meanwhile, my sons first payment was due on the 19th, but he cannot pay until the VIN is corrected. Did I mention he is also a Marine who is stationed three hours away? Marine bases have stringent rules regarding tags and registration so this has posed a serious problem for my son. I finally demanded a manager and was connected to William, who assured me he would get to the bottom of everything and call me later that afternoon. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. I called Ford Customer Service and was told they couldn't help because the dealership is privately owned, but he called them to try to scare them into doing their job. WILLIAM the "Manager" told him it was up to finance to help me and they weren't there and he did not have keys to get into their office. (Really, William?) WILLIAM the "Manager" did call me 10 min later and said my son needed a rental car and asked me to put it on MY CREDIT CARD AND THEY WOULD REIMBURSE ME LATER!!! I of course said no, they can't even return a call, and he said I would have to wait until the next week and he'd call me that Monday with the details. THAT NEVER HAPPENED. Thankfully, my friend at the Federal Prosecutors Office told me who to contact to report this insanely unprofessional dealership. So, I have now turned it over to them for investigation. I pray no one has to go through what we have. This has been an insane and exhausting nightmare. Go to another dealership. I beg of you. More
