My F250 had a check engine light on So I called Mccree Ford since they are closer to my house. I was told it would take 2 weeks for a appointment then they need to keep my truck 7 days.So I called Classic Ford since they are closer to my house. I was told it would take 2 weeks for a appointment then they need to keep my truck 7 days.So I called Classic Ford Earl in service told I could drop off at convenience which I did and my truck was ready that afternoon and they also cleared 3 open recalls for truck So needless to say I won’t be trying to save a miles next time my Ford need service More
Not very happy with service. I sat 2 hour waiting for a change of oil and a Texas license inspection. A service person came to me and told me that I had a problem with my truck (Ranger) in that my inspecti change of oil and a Texas license inspection. A service person came to me and told me that I had a problem with my truck (Ranger) in that my inspection system did not work and does not send data to their inspection station I asked why and was told that I must have a break down with my trucks computer. They told me that it would cost about $200 as a start to find the problem. I told them that was a good truck and I wanted them to find out what was the problem as I will take the truck to some other shop to be repaired. I left the dealer with my truck and checked around for some other shop to do the inspection to solve the problem. About 2 hours later I got a call to come pick up my truck. I got to the service department and was told the cost was $91.00. I told the clerk that all I had done was a oil job, but then they told me the inspection was done now. I ask a lot of questions and found out the the dealer's equipment was at fault or it was not operate properly or was not turned on right. I got no discount or a apology for this poor work. I thought and still feel I was in a set up for scam . I have been a customer for a long time but I believe that this event will have me look for some other shop to do my service in the future.
