I suggest that they need to send their mangers and sales people to other dealership for training 101 sales. The best thing about this dealership is the 1966 black corvette in show room and it should not be their. It is disgrace to the corvette More
Bought a brand new 2019 Chevy traverse in 2019. It has since had several problems. The last time I took it in I was told by Kevin I had a transmission problem, a bad purge valve, and a bad heat shield actuator. He said the transmission Dept was backed up by 3 weeks and to just drive it and if it gets worse oh well because they are fixing it. Three weeks later I took my car in and it sat there for another 3 weeks. When I asked about it Kevin told me there was no issues and it was perfectly fine. Less than a mile up the road went to get gas and it wouldn't take any because of the bad purge valve that apparently healed itself while there and then broke again immediately. Less than 10 miles from picking it up the car jolted and then refused to actually move....1st and 2nd gear of the transmission were stripped. Also it clicked the entire time because again. ..my self healing purge valve didn't heal after all. When Joe contacted me he was rude and dismissive and refused to provide the information my legal team needed. In the end GM bought the vehicle back because the damage done by classic was more than they wanted to fix. They also told me this has been an issue with classic for some time. The only thing my car did get there was 4 huge xxx scrapes. Deep as xxxx. Joe told me he watched the videos and it was definitely not them but when I asked for the same footage he said to bring it in for it to be repaired. Shady and lazy. Do not give them business. More
Really poor customer service. I have purchased a new vehicle almost every year for 10 years. Sometimes I purchase cash, sometimes I finance. I called Classic Chevrolet about a tru I have purchased a new vehicle almost every year for 10 years. Sometimes I purchase cash, sometimes I finance. I called Classic Chevrolet about a truck I was interested in. The salesman Camron was rude, unresponsive and obviously didn’t want to make a sale. I called the Internet Manager and he said someone would return my call. I left a v/m with the finance department. Then at 5 PM I found the same truck at Autonation for less. They were awesome. At 7 PM I picked up the 2021 GMC and was out the door in 15 minutes. It was that easy! I will never purchase from Classic Chevrolet or any dealer in their network. I have told everyone I know how poorly I was treated there. Someone left me a voicemail the following Monday. Too bad, I wanted to purchase on Saturday (and did elsewhere with ease). More
I worked with Rodney over an internet deal. After looking all over the different car websites I found a deal on there lot that was substantially cheaper than similar vehicles where I live. Rodney wa looking all over the different car websites I found a deal on there lot that was substantially cheaper than similar vehicles where I live. Rodney walked around and videoed the vehicle for me sent me pictures of the vehicle and assured me it would be there if I made the 2 hour drive. I showed up we traded keys because I had a trade and went for a test drive. Came back in told him I wanted the vehicle and the deal was done. By far one of the easiest car buying experiences I have had. Rodney was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. More
I purchased a 2021 Chevy Blazer from them, and they used tactics to manipulate the price. On 9/18/2021, I went to Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, Texas to meet with the sales associate Kevin Gooding. I told tactics to manipulate the price. On 9/18/2021, I went to Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, Texas to meet with the sales associate Kevin Gooding. I told him my husband was interested in the Blazer, Mr. Gooding told me there was a chip problem and it would take a while before the car would come in. But I could put $500.00 down to hold the Blazer when it came in. So I agreed. We talked about the incentives and because the Blazer is not in stock right now, would I still get the September incentives, and he told me that I would. So I paid the $500.00, and waited for the car to come in. Mr. Gooding emailed me on 11/112021, to tell me that the Blazer we were waiting for had arrived. On Thursday 11/18/2021, Mr Gooding sent me a text, stating that after my deposit the Blazer will cost me $37,683 plus tax and title (ttl). I then asked him how much the tax and title would cost. Mr. Gooding he then wrote that it would be 6.25%, plus another $350 - $400. Everything seemed fine, so my husband and I decide to go the next day to purchase the Blazer. On 11/19/2021, my husband and I purchased a 2021 Blazer from Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, Texas. I was not happy with the termed that was presented to me by finance. The payments would be $579.89, for 84 months. I asked about the incentives that was offered to be in September, and I was told I could not get those incentives. I asked if there was any incentives the next day saw on the Chevy website that there is a $500.00 Cyber incentive until 11/20/2021, but it was not offered to me. We did talk about getting 6 years or 60,000 miles, but it was not in my paperwork. I tried to get finance to lower the price because I felt the monthly payment of $569.89 was too high, but he wouldn’t budge. Basically I was told to take the deal or look for another vehicle. I had already waited so long to get the vehicle, and although he gave us a few minutes to think about it. My husband and I signed the paperwork. I didn’t realize until the next day that I went from having at great deal at $37,863 to paying $43,959.99, I felt the dealership had taken advantage of me. And the money I thought I was paying for my Gap insurance, was used as a down payment for the Blazer. When I stated that I would have to refinance, the finance guy who I don’t remember his name, told me no one could beat GM’s deal and he knew all the credit unions and none of them would give me a better deal. I am so sorry I did business with Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine. More
I found a 2020 Camaro SS convertible. the car was advertised as super clean. traveled 8 hours and when I got there the car was not what they claimed. we went over the car and they said they were we advertised as super clean. traveled 8 hours and when I got there the car was not what they claimed. we went over the car and they said they were were going to make it right. they kept it there for 2 weeks to fix several things. grill, dings, and other things. they also said they were going to certify the car and later found out it did not get certified. Found this our after having to take it to the shop for repairs after having it for 2 weeks. this is not who i would ever deal with again. I should have had it inspected by a third party lesson learned. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE DO NOT HOLD UP THEIR END OF THE DEAL. More
Classic Chevrolet's service advisor quoted a price for window parts to me over the phone. Classic Chevrolet then charged a price for the parts that was 800% higher. I was quoted $37.50 each for two after- window parts to me over the phone. Classic Chevrolet then charged a price for the parts that was 800% higher. I was quoted $37.50 each for two after-market window regulators and charged $342.37 and $332.38, not including labor to install. Window regulators for my vehicle are available from multiple sources, brick and mortar as well as online, for less than $100. Some sources have them for under $50. Walmart has them for $63.68 (with the motor). The price I was charged was 400% higher than the price for the same item (plus the motor) at Walmart. A quick Google search verifies the true cost of the after-market parts that were sold to me for $342.37 and $332.38. I was quoted $37.50 for each part. The invoice from Classic Chevrolet shows how I was charged nine (9) times this amount. Walmart's website shows the same part (plus the motor) for $63.68. It is available at comparable prices from numerous sources. The verbal quote of $37.50 that I received from Classic Chevrolet's service advisor was similar to verbal quotes I have received numerous times from auto dealership service departments. This was my first visit to Classic Chevrolet and potentially my last, pending resolution to this complaint. More
