I'm not sure how this dealer is highly rated. I have taken my truck to this dealer on 3 occasions. The first I made a appointment for a oil change, after sitting in the waiting area for 45 minute I have taken my truck to this dealer on 3 occasions. The first I made a appointment for a oil change, after sitting in the waiting area for 45 minutes the service writer told me they "were almost done" at this point I informed him that my truck was still sitting where it was parked when I got there. I got up and left at this point. I then had a torque converter lockup clutch failure on the same truck. I have aftermarket warranty so I took it to them instead of doing the repair myself, they informed me my torque converter was good and I had bad motor mounts. I called the service manager and informed them that I would not be paying another warranty deductible if they misdiagnosed the issue. Sure enough I get a call back that the torque converter was bad, the service writer then informs me that there is none available for my truck. I'm a lifelong mechanic and have a uncle who is a lifelong service manager with Chevy in another state. I called him and he searched the dealer network and informed me that there was in excess of 300 torque converters within a 100 mile radius of this store. I called Cleburne chevy parts and provided them the part number, they told me they were available. When they asked me if I wanted it I said no but your service writer needs it to fix my truck. I'm not sure on exact repair time but I believe it pushed a month for a 9 hour job. Fast forward to today and I called to get a state inspection and a alignment. I waited for over 1.5 hours at which point they said my truck was done but they couldn't align it due to construction blocking the machine, so with a appointment it took 1.5 hours to complete a 15 minute inspection. This dealership lacks integrity as proven on my first visit with the service writer telling me they were almost done when they hadn't even touched the vehicle, lacks mechanical knowledge as the tech misdiagnosed my torque converter, regardless of bad motor mount. Lacks organizations as none of the service writers knew the alignment machine was blocked and wasted my whole afternoon. Maybe sales is good but as a career mechanic and maintenance manager I can guarantee you their service department lacks leadership and skill and has no problem lying to you about it. More
