All good, Just wanted to make 100% sure. For we dont have yall drive out for no reason. with the 7k down, and her 730+ credit. We could make something happen for yall. Are you positive beca For we dont have yall drive out for no reason. with the 7k down, and her 730+ credit. We could make something happen for yall. Are you positive because she can go over 700.00 month payment. Got with my sales manger, He gave me the thumbs up for getting right around the 700 mark. Not over it right Ill make sure we get your daughter to where she needs to be. Let me know if you have any questions once you get done talking to your daughter. We Want to earn your business. Now they are saying they can't do it without more money down or her payments are going to be higher. And refusing to make it right on there end by adjusting the price of the truck. More
I went into this dealership based on the online price of the vehicle I wanted. My first contact was Ryan. I made the mistake of telling him I was not in the need of financing because I was trading in my tru the vehicle I wanted. My first contact was Ryan. I made the mistake of telling him I was not in the need of financing because I was trading in my truck with low mileage. My truck is worth $20,000 more than their online pricing for the vehicle I wanted to buy based on a KBB report. At the time of the call the car wasn't even on the property because it was with another customer who had it for a few days, but it was due in by noon. By the time I got there, Ryan told me over the phone he was with another client & Richard would be assisting me. As I approached the door, I saw the car I wanted parked right there. Went in, spoke with Richard for a few minutes about my intentions and then we went on a test drive. During that test drive he asked if Tyler went over pricing and asked if I knew the car would be over the MSRP price of $27,685 (which was the online advertised price) at $33,000 as he pointed out an additional hand made notice of the price change that was taped to the front window on the passenger side (not the driver side like the original sales invoice is that listed the original MSRP price) AFTER I arrived on property. At that point I realized they were taking advantage of the fact I was not financing so they raised the price up over $5000. Richard asked how I felt about it and I basically told him I was in no hurry to buy a car & if I couldn't get the deal I wanted that I was willing to wait and I would sell my truck online to get the price I wanted. Once we got back, Richard worked on the offer. He went back to his manager & offered me a low ball price of $33,000-38,000 and provided a print out from two different websites of what they claim to be the current market value to show as examples. Both print outs did not include a list of items that are available on my truck, so for all I know they could have put in a basic model information to get that pricing. My research showed sales pricing over $50,000 with all of the options available on my truck. I told him I wasn't accepting anything lower than $40,000. He went back to his manager. During this time I remembered I printed off the KBB trade-in value estimate that was between $41,832-$45,219, so I pulled it out of my folder to show him. Luckily, I didn't need it because they agreed to the $40,000 + $995 in tax rebates. Now, it's time to work on the car I want to buy. To shorten this story, I told him I wasn't paying a dime over the advertisement price & that I was on an official State of Texas website that states the dealership is to work with the consumer on the advertisement price. He went to his manager and came back to show me a "discloser" regarding the advertisement price and it stated that the price may not include any dealer add ons etc. He did this so quickly, I was unable to verify the website he was on but I did notice the section he was showing me appeared to be in an editing format. Similar to what it would look like if I was editing my own business website. We went back and forth and Richard visibly started to get frustrated with me. He went back to his manager and came back stating they would not honor the advertised price and they were set on $33,000. I told him the car was not worth the $33,000 and I decided to leave. As a consumer I went to the dealership based on the advertised price. As a sales person, Richard kept referring to the heightened price is due to the lack of inventory due to the pandemic. The KBB website reflects the current fair market value price and the advertised price was already above that. As a consumer, I know the dealership is going to make more money selling my truck than they would with me buying a much cheaper car. All I wanted was the current fair market value price & this salesperson and his manager was looking out for their own commission instead of providing quality service to a consumer who would have shared a good sales experience to all of her social media accounts, friends and family and as an official Google Local Guide member. Now, I'm going to contact the State of Texas and the department who governs car sales to confirm the information I was provided by the salesperson regarding their 'disclosure' statement that I still dont see on the Autotrader website, because I looked when I got home. So if you don't need financing, be prepared to provide actual data that supports your negotiating efforts like I did. Because it was visibly obvious this salesperson was not expecting my the type of research I was able to provide. More
It shouldn't be this hard to get information. Samuel was a complete waste of time. If you're not there, you don't matter. I asked about a specific truck on their website that had apparently been sold a week a complete waste of time. If you're not there, you don't matter. I asked about a specific truck on their website that had apparently been sold a week earlier. Samuel told me they had a similar truck, but wouldn't give me the info on it. Just wanted me to come in. I told him I wanted to do everything online, and never received a response. Definitely glad I didn't drive the 3 hours to do business with them. More
Looks like they've changed their name to Vanguard, but I wanted to share this review as many places as possible in order to hopefully help at least one person in avoiding this place. Car salesman and dealer wanted to share this review as many places as possible in order to hopefully help at least one person in avoiding this place. Car salesman and dealerships always get a bad rap for being sleazy and unethical and it's places like these that give them that reputation. I understand there is a chip shortage going on and that it is impacting most dealers, but apparently these guys have decided to mark up MSRP far above their competitors. There are certain increases that make sense based on the market, but not outrageous ones when the car will already be worth less than the sticker once it’s driven off the lot. We called in ahead of time in order to not waste our time if this would be the case and were lied to by whoever we spoke to on the phone, not necessarily surprising as a lot of dealerships are doing this to get people to come in right now. What happened after is what angered me enough to write my first bad review. They had me fill out a credit application (for convenience IF the time came) so I could take my two small children home while my husband handled the deal. After verbally committing that they weren't doing anything crazy with markups they said they would talk numbers with him. Filling out any kind of information for them to run credit was our mistake at being too trusting with others and not realizing they'd be so unethical. When they were “seeing what they could do” they apparently ran the credit without showing my husband any initial numbers and letting him know. We had discussed we didn’t want to even go through those steps unless we saw that they weren’t adding in a massive markup, which they did by almost $10,000 over sticker. So now after time wasted and them doing the steps we clearly stated we didn’t want, we found out they were lying from the first phone call and could have saved ourselves the time and energy. I am upset that they wasted our time, lied to us about their pricing, and then pulled the manipulative move of trying to corner us into the deal now that they already ran the credit. It was no longer about the numbers and became all about their slimy practices. I would rather spend more money for the same car at a different dealership with good and honest people. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone if you want to deal with honest and ethical people. Completely disappointed in their behavior and living up to the stereotype and just wouldn't want anyone to be taken advantage of by this group. More

Honest, Easy to do business with, efficient Follow though, punctuality , attention to detail, active listeners, and integrity. These characteristics I’d use to describe the feel or working with Follow though, punctuality , attention to detail, active listeners, and integrity. These characteristics I’d use to describe the feel or working with the used car team at Classic of Carrollton. I purposely made it tough on them, with a last minute appt, suspect credit to say the least, and short on time. To get it done it took a team effort. Lawrence took my initial call, set the appt, and made me feel great about coming to the lot. During the call he mentioned the car would be pulled up front so that we could see it right as we arrived - that was a big win! Mom couldn’t take her eyes off of it - she was smitten like a kitten! I had to pry her into the office.. From that point we worked with a super knowledgeable, and friendly sales associate, Alex. He was superb. Finally we entered the dreaded Finance office:). Right away Jay connected with us and we were laughing and cutting up in no time! I give Jay “Boss Man” Wilson my highest straight-shooter seal of approval. He made it easy by beating the competitors rate, an affordable payment, and bumper to bumper coverage and Gap - which helps mom sleep at night. Many thanks for a phenomenal experience and one of the least painless car buying experiences I’ve had to date. Count on us to refer family and friends and I’ll be back for a new GMC truck very soon! Lawrence, Alex, and Jay - keep being car rock stars - don't change a thing! Happy Friday and have a great weekend! Nolan Parker. Kim Demetri. More
