Awesome Salesman, I have been going to dealerships in VT and NH for two years. Subaru, Jeep, VW. Each time the sales person seemed to be doing me a favor talking to me I have been going to dealerships in VT and NH for two years. Subaru, Jeep, VW. Each time the sales person seemed to be doing me a favor talking to me....or spoke only to my husband......stopped in the middle of our initial meeting to answer his cellphone.....something that just turned me off, way before looking at cars. While going to Claremont I said. "Let's just stop and look". We were immediately approached by Eric...he smiled, approached me first and introduced him self, made eye contact...then introduce himself to my husband but came back to me. He was professional but easy going....so knowledgeable about the cars I was interested in. I had walked out of at least 12 dealerships over the last two years because of the salesperson. I stayed at Claremont Subaru because of Eric. Tom in financing was terrific too! Sometimes you just click with people. I also really love the waiting room at Claremont. There was a couple waiting for something and they had their little dog with them. When I had my Jeep serviced at Kelly Jeep in Springfield VT...I brought my dog with me...she's a therapy dog with Caring Canines of Vermont....well, they would not let her in the, very small, waiting room although there was no one there. Most we walked for an hour in the pouring rain. Dunkin Donuts welcomed her in with me to grab a cup of coffee and suggested we sit until my car was done. Small thing but that is why I did not buy another Jeep.....I've had Jeeps for 25 years. Hope this isn't too long. I love my new car and thank Eric for being the one who approached us that day. More

I read the flyer over assuming that it was a gimmick but couldn't find any fine print that would suggest she was anything but the winner of $5k cash. When she went to pick up her winnings the sales rep took the flyer from her and said that she didn't win anything. I called to find out why they were running such a deceptive flyer and was told that they weren't responsible because they hire an outside company to run the promotionals. More

We felt this tactic he with us was both unprofessional and patronizing, and sexist since I was purchasing the car. Later we read on the Survey that his tactic is totally against Subaru of America's policy. In addition, he promised to keep me happy since the car was over 3 weeks in delivery late that he would throw in a Weather-all cargo mat. But, he said that would be given ONLY after I completed the Survey giving him all 10's in every category!! For a while, we decided to let it go as I loved the car. The only good point I gave him on survey was he did a good job explaining all aspects of the car. However, Subaru of America kept asking me to complete the survey. They asked me a few times online to complete it and also sent me the paper copy with a code to enter. I kept that paper. Finally we decided to complete the survey and did so recently on what occurred in full detail. The Survey listed dates, all comments, and actions as witnessed by both of us. a very bad review of his comments, etc. with dates and in full detail Molly McDermott and Randy Martin More
Great Car- Horrible Dealership Experience Recommend this dealer? No Purchased a vehicle from this dealer? Yes Arrive at dealership at: 11:15am. Test Drive selected vehicle: 11:45am. Agree Recommend this dealer? No Purchased a vehicle from this dealer? Yes Arrive at dealership at: 11:15am. Test Drive selected vehicle: 11:45am. Agree on vehicle price: 1:00pm. Begin paperwork: 1:30pm. Paperwork entered incorrectly by staff and had to redo it all: 2:30pm. Told that the cost provided was inaccurate and that interest would be 17%- declined to proceed and spoke to Manager-On-Duty. Got interest down to just over 5% and original cost agreed upon- agreed to proceed: 3:30pm. Paperwork reentered by staff and upon signing was told that warranty was required- declined to add that additional cost to our note- spoke again with Manager-On-Duty and he said warranty was totally optional and not required and we agreed to proceed 4:30pm. Upon signing, told that a minimum warranty would be required and that the sale would be nullified if we did not elect it. Staff claimed that their profit without the warranty would only be $17 (seventeen dollars) and they could not complete the sale without the warranty. Spoke yet again to Manager-On-Duty and he confirmed that the sale would be lost without the warranty agreement. Reluctantly agreed and continued with finalizing paperwork: 5:00pm Waited for car to be fueled and cleaned while temporary plate was being issued: 5:45pm Inspection unable to be performed due to Service Dept leaving at 5:00pm. (We live an hour and a half away from Dealership and had to take a day off of work to drive down for the inspection about one week later.) License plate applied to vehicle had incorrect date (dated one week prior to the date of our purchase) and caused concern over potentially getting ticketed before we could get the new plates. When we called and spoke to Dealership regarding incorrect license plate dates, we were told that, if we could come back in, they would use a black marker to enter correct date onto plate causing greater concern over being ticketed for manipulating the original date written on the plate. Was handed our keys to the newly purchased vehicle at 6:30pm. Went back to Dealership a week later for Inspection. No one greeted us- we pulled into the Inspection Bay, left the keys in the car and waited for the inspection. Service department did not check anything- didnt open the hood, didnt notice that the tire pressure light was illuminated inside the dash and didnt correct it, scratched the rear bumper of the vehicle when installing newly acquired license plates. Placed stickers on car and it was left in the bay with keys in it. No one said thank you, no one smiled, no one was kind in any fashion. Simply a Horrible Experience. Any Good news? Yes- the car is fantastic! More

We had no problems getting the sale completed, but when he left the dealership he had a major problem with the car. He immediately call Jesse Wright our sales person and he jumped right on it and when to my sons aid...got a wrecker and gave a car to us to use and told us not to worry as he would take care of it. I guess we've all heard that before...right. Well he did exactly as he said he got the car fixed for my son, just as he said he would. We have bought several cars from Jesse and he always professional and understand our needs. We just bought a 2015 Forester from him and just love this SUV. I feel very safe in these bad road conditions we have in the winter here in NH. I would recommend the Claremont Subaru dealership for all. The service guys are great too! More

At Subaru of Claremont, the sales-folks seemed to GET IT, that the BRZ is an obsession-car. It's not a normal Subaru. It's not a practical car with "symmetrical all-wheel drive." It would not be a normal pur that the BRZ is an obsession-car. It's not a normal Subaru. It's not a practical car with "symmetrical all-wheel drive." It would not be a normal purchase. Availability was NIL, in the northeast. I never was able to test-drive a BRZ. The first time I drove a BRZ, I drove MY BRZ. It's a wonderful, stressful, nuts situation. Zach Rouleau is a happy, avid OWNER of a BRZ, so he knew all about the pain and the anguish and the excitement. It took me about a YEAR to finally make the decision. Jesse Wright handled all the paperwork. Subaru of Claremont and its people were PATIENT with me. I visited there often, to suck up their free coffee, and to find some solace in conversation with their no-pressure enthusiasts. I hope to put the BRZ in the garage for the winter, and so I'll need a used Outback or Forester or Impreza wagon for the winter, and so of course I'll be back for a "normal Subaru" purchase, and I'm sure things will go just right. Also, the dealership building itself is lovely. Big, spacious, clean, organized. Nice furniture & magazines & light for folks waiting for their oil-change or whatever. Bring your kid. Bring your dog. It's back away from the highway a little bit, so it's not noisy, dangerous, dusty. All will be well. More
