My experience wasn't horrible because I knew when to walk out. But I will say this. They will hustle the ish out of you if you allow it. I implore everyone to do their due diligence. First they pile optional stuff on the sticker price and say it's mandatory as if the brochure/ contract doesn't state that it's all voluntary. Bringing the total up to about $5000-7000. Then they have a market adjustment fee of $10,000. I was told that no one would sell at MSRP to me (Smith Cairns in yonkers did) after all that nonsense came the dealership fees, document fees etc. When I asked for them to explain what was included in the fees the answer inwas given is everything, I asked what's everything absolutely no answer even tho the dealership fee included "everything" they were trying to include a document fee (apart from the tittle and registration fee) of $1500. For the record NYS dealers can only take up to $175 in document fee look it up on dmv site. So while they hit you with the Law requires us to charge everyone the same doc fee what they don't tell you Is that there is a cap and they don't really follow the laws. It was a whole bunch of bs charges. That would make anyone want to call the FTC for they rip people off left and right. The initial cars msrp were about $28,000 after the scamming the total of ONE car (a small sedan) was about $65,000. PEOPLE STOP ALLOWING THESE CROOKS TO GET AWAY WITH HIGHWAY ROBBERY. I JUST GOT AN 8 PASSENGER SUV WITH A GREAT PACKAGE FOR 54,000 AND I DIDNT HAVE TO DO ANY NEGOTIATING WITH SHADY PEOPLE. DO YOUR HW AND CALL AROUND DONT JUMP ON THE FIRST OFFER. More
