I submitted my information online in search of a Hyundai Elantra. I got a very quick response from a number of dealers. Troy Gladden was the only person willing to give me a price in writing via email. I di Elantra. I got a very quick response from a number of dealers. They tried to downplay my price quote and told me that it will not be the real price when I get there which made me leary. After hearing the same thing from 2 other dealers I was very, very, reluctant to visit City World. It was not right around the corner but Troy's price was the lowest that I got. Not only did he honor the price that he quoted me, I did not have to pay the conveyence fee that CT dealers charge. Everyone was very courteous and I left the dealership very quickly with no hassle and no surprises. My time is worth more than anything and City World Hyundai respected that. I would definately recommend them to anyone shopping for a vehicle. More
The General Manager, Jack Swartz, told me to take my business else where after asking questions about the mileage and if there was any damage to a new vehicle. I got a great response from hyundai corporate of USA and eventually got a phone call from the CEO of Hyundai USA in which he is currently helping me find the vehicle I want for the best possible price. They were very fair and honest. Very happy with the service. For example, after we signed and paid for the car we realized the car did not have floor mats because they were extra. Troy is an exceptionally good sales representative and a friendly person to work with. However, the managers tend to over ride his decisions time and again. Especially, Micheal who is far too egoistic for t friendly person to work with. However, the managers tend to over ride his decisions time and again. Initially, he refused to sign a deal on Elantra 2013 because I asked him about the labor day promotions and after that he started telling lies not only to me but to his colleagues (Troy) that the car is still on hold and they can not do any business on Sunday because, they did not have anybody to bill. Furthermore, the next day I was all set to walk in the dealership and ride out with the car and that is when he tells me that all the Elantras were sold on the previous day and he can not deliver the car. Jack, their GM, comes in to the picture when he wants to overrule Troy's decisions or deals. Jack and Micheal both seem to be a game to this business of fooling customers. To them auto sales business is a favor to the customer, but they forget to notice that the customers pay for their cars and they are not doing any charity. With all due respect to Troy, for a person who is in the business for 8-10 years now, should be in a better dealership or a better position to judge his managers and deal with them. All the hard work he puts in, is in vain and at a wrong dealership, which doesn't deserve it. Mike thinks he is the goon of the business and politeness in his behavior is far fetched. My advise to all would be, stay away from fraudulent managers and try dealing with Troy without anyone being involved. If that doesn't work, just avoid the dealership! Troy, the Internet Sales Manager, responded quickly with a quote that was attractive, honest, and fair. Not only did he give me a great deal, but he also have me great deal on my trade-in, and put me into my beautiful new Sonata at a price I could afford. The dealership handled all aspects of the transaction professionally and the customer service was excellent. I have been to many dealerships, but Troy and City World Hyundai is the best one I have ever dealt with in terms of their ability to take great care of their customers and had me driving my new Sonata home within a couple of hours. I plan on recommending them to all my family and friends when they need a new vehicle. More
Bottom line - I saved $3,000 by going to this dealership! I shopped around for midsize sedans and Hyundai Sonatas were high on my list ( also tested accord, civic, altima). I saw the City World ad in the paper and they advertised the car I wanted for 3K less than what I had negotiated at the other dealer (who would not match the City World price). I called Jack and then worked with Mark. The car was exactly as advertised - exact car and exact price. No "bait and switch" and no hidden costs. It was the easiest and most honest car buying experience I have ever had. More
