I've been visiting this dealership for a long time to do basic service, such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Never had a problem until now. I took my car in on a Friday for an oil change, tire work, an basic service, such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Never had a problem until now. I took my car in on a Friday for an oil change, tire work, and a check engine diagnosis. At 5:00 that evening, someone called to ask if they could keep my car longer since they weren't done with it yet. I said yes but asked if it would be ready the next day. The man on the phone said he didn't know and that he would have my service advisor call me. I never received a call on Saturday nor Sunday. Long story short, I called several times to get an update when I finally just had to walk into the dealership on Thursday to get my car. The service advisor never contacted me about the check engine results and I never spoke to anyone about the actual issues. I wasn't able to get anyone on the phone. I received an email five days after the car had been in the shop with recommended repairs and that's it. When I was picking my car up, I asked if I could get the diagnostics fee dropped or reduced to make up for the whole ordeal. The service manager Oscar, would not speak to me in the lobby and made me come into his office. I was literally surrounded by men - a service manager to my right, Oscar in front of me and the service advisor Alberto, stood in front of the door on my left. I explained the situation to Oscar, the service manager, and he told me, word for word, "I find it hard to believe no one contacted you." He proceeded to tell me I have a Google phone number they tried to call (I don't) and left a message. This never happened. Oscar would not remedy the situation. Looking back on that interaction, I realize it was an attempt to intimidate a young woman. Their attitude and service today was shameful. More
Our experience with City Kia has been excellent from the time we purchased our new Kia Soul, to its first service. The staff is professional and knowledgeable about every vehicle they sell, and they do ever time we purchased our new Kia Soul, to its first service. I’ve been coming here for 3 years and recently went there. The service sucks they try to say you need everything right when you pull up and they damage my tires by over inflating them to 39 PSI. First thing the lady said when I pulled up you need new tires, transmission flush and service. I told her I bought these tires less than a year ago and did the 68,000 maintenance on the car. She verified the info that it was correct. And she still was trying to push other services on me. I use to love coming here now I’ll have to find a new service location. More
