I bought a 2010 gt500 from them that had shot brakes and tires. I was very aware of the bad brakes and 10 year old tires, but staff tried to tell me that the service department would have replaced them if t tires. In the moment this made me question my better judgment. No 10 year old tire is safe. They also passed it through inspection with these same tires and brakes. Besides these known issues which factored into the purchase, I was not aware of the terribly slipping clutch. Roughly 2 days after buying the car, I came to find out the clutch could not handle anything more than half throttle. This is a very expensive fix and reached out to the dealership prior to this review with no response. I understood that it is up to me, or any buyer to find these issues, but I do not see how I could have found out it had a slipping clutch when the car is on terrible tires, it’s freezing cold out, and the car makes 540hp. To figure this problem out would require anyone being reckless with a dealership owned vehicle. I wish the dealership would have disclosed this information or at least contacted me back regarding these issues. I am reasonable and am not expecting them to take the car back, but it would appreciate some help fixing it. Especially after spending that much money and having a rather good experience with their staff. More
The service advisor made sure to check with the Volt tech to confirm the recommended and required maintenance services at the 5-year mark for Volts. They reviewed the services with me and then gave me a quote and an estimated time range. Everything went well, with the actual time being on the lower end. I hope not to have any Chevrolet or Volt-specific issues for the next 5 years, but if I do, I will be bringing my Volt back to them! More
