bad experience with used truck went down to chuck spaeth ford in sleepy eye to look at and test drive an older model chevy truck. upon driving over an hour one way, we popped the h went down to chuck spaeth ford in sleepy eye to look at and test drive an older model chevy truck. upon driving over an hour one way, we popped the hood on the truck and noticed no anti freeze in the burp tank and that there was very little transmission fluid visible on the dipstick. The oil had been freshly changed but was very thick and an off brown color. upon starting the vehicle it gurgled badly and when we rechecked the transmission fluid it was not even visible on the stick, so it had to be at least 2 to 3 quarts low. The salesman said that it had already been through the shop and given the thumbs up to sell. Total waste of time to drive down that far and the shop couldn't even bother to try to make it look like the truck had been maintained. More

3000 mile check up of 2019 Ford Ranger Shop work was done efficiently as expected and timely manner although I did not visit the dealership in person. I am disappointed that I had an ast Shop work was done efficiently as expected and timely manner although I did not visit the dealership in person. I am disappointed that I had an asterisk on the bill asking me to make arrangements for payment. Within an hour of the return of my truck I got a phone call asking when I would be able to pay my bill. I have purchased four vehicles from this dealership and had the majority of service work done by them. I've been satisfied with their service and dealing with me as a customer. My bills have been paid within a week or sooner when the work was done. Never have I been late with a payment for service. However, this pressure for payment really has me upset. If payment is to be immediately, then I should be told that when making the appointment. I normally have them pick up the truck and return in when finished. The bill is left on the seat of the truck with the keys. Payment is made the next time I am out and about on errands as I said within a day or two. So right now I am an unhappy customer for this pressure to make payment and then getting phone calls within the hour service is completed. We'll see how this affects my decision as to where I will make my next vehicle purchase. I've feel a definite loyalty to this dealership, but this incident has me quite upset. Hopefully things will go much better if and when I bring the truck in for future service. More
