It is certainly disheartening for us as well, when a situation like this arises where neither of us was at fault, and it ruins the experience of going home with a new truck that you were excited about. We understand the difficulty of being two hours from home while shopping for a new vehicle, which is why we provided you with a free loaner while we arranged for a body shop to look at your truck. And while we personally could not be there when our drivers came to your home to pick up the loaner vehicle, we understood when you contacted us no longer wanted to purchase the truck. Thank you for your feedback, Steven. When you brought your vehicle in to our service department, four diagnostic procedures were performed. Per your extended warranty, which you did not purchase through us, you are responsible for those diagnostic fees. When we contacted your warranty provider, they refused to cover the repairs, and you opted not to have them done. Vehicle maintenance is stressful and we understand your frustration. Give us a call or stop in and we will be happy to find a way to work with you to get your vehicle back in top running condition.

So, when we described the condition of the rocker panels and recommended that the F-150 was more suited for a local customer, rather than being driven from Ohio to North Carolina, our decision, which may have been interpreted as us not wanting to sell you the vehicle, was in line with our dealership's policy of 100% transparency with our customers. At Chuck Nicholson GMC Mazda we hold ourselves to a high standard.
