Bought used 08 Audi; less than 1,000 miles in, dead battery, brakes, pads and rotors had to be replaced; all to the tune of $900.00 When we asked the dealership to help with the cost they refused. Al battery, brakes, pads and rotors had to be replaced; all to the tune of $900.00 When we asked the dealership to help with the cost they refused. Also, upon test driving the vehicle I asked that the wiper blades be replaced. They were not. They must have lubricated the blades because when I picked the car up the next day the blades were smooth over the windshield. I find out today, they are dry rotted and need replacement. No owner's manual, no second key (which I have to pay $300 for). DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT CONSIDER CHRYSLER OF CULPEPER FOR ANY VEHICLE PURCHASE!! More
BIG SCAM they bring in some fly by night experienced scammers to sell cars for thousands more than they are worth. They leer you in there with false advertising claiming you have won a great prize and scammers to sell cars for thousands more than they are worth. They leer you in there with false advertising claiming you have won a great prize and you get a quarter for your prize. 25 cents doesn't even cover the gas. They will not tell you if you have won until you wait a long time and listen to their sales pitch for a very long time. They do a credit check without permission and jack up price of any car you might be interested in. They kept me there for hours trying to sell to me and would not let me leave keeping hold of my license. This place is nothing but a store front for a big scam. They are LIARS. Claim the car has perks it does not. They tell you all sorts of lies but won't put it in writing. Tell you the car is worth thousands more than it is and will sell it to you for thousands more than you would pay for a new vehicle of same make and model. This place is horrible horrible. They should be shut down for illegal activity. Immoral and unethical dealings with liars has left me so angry. These people are mean and nasty in the way they lie and cheat to steal your money. More
I was interested in the 07 Honda Odyssey EX. We took it out for a test drive. It rode nice. Big chip in the windshield. I was told it would pass inspection in spite of that. Yes but it will still sprea out for a test drive. It rode nice. Big chip in the windshield. I was told it would pass inspection in spite of that. Yes but it will still spread, it's the size of my thumb. No it'll be fine. Car was filthy on the inside. I mean filthy. Never cleaned. Syrup still in the cupholders. Something on the back seat that has been there for a long time. Not even an attempt to clean it. "It was just cleaned." There is no way it was just cleaned. Just look at it. Absolutely filthy. We can clean it again. Why would you say that when it's obvious it was not cleaned at all? Why lie? I asked about the timing belt being changed. "These don't have timing belts, they have timing chains" I'm told. Wow, did not know that. That's promising. My Odyssey had a belt and we had to change that a couple times over the life of the vehicle. I get home later to find that that is Not true again. They all have timing belts that must be changed. If you don't know, stop telling untruths. Let's get beyond that and let's talk deal. I had my list of competitively priced Odyssey's that were over a thousand less. Let's make a deal. "We sure can" We can lower this"Let me go back and check." Allright I'm thinking. Chipped windshield, filthy, lower prices elsewhere. He comes back. No, can't do anything. Nothing?? Not even 50$? So you really don't want to sell the car. Just another ploy to get people to make the drive to the dealership. What about the famed "processing fee"? How about waving that? I'm required by law to charge the processing fee. Really? Required by law? Those exact words. Required by law. Liar! That is not required in VA. Not according to the VA DMV or the VA Car Dealers Association. In fact the VA Car Dealers Association has pleaded that their dealers NOT SAY that it is a requirement by law. More and more people are frustrated by those so called fees. Even if he had come back with a small deduction he would've sold the car. My father has bought three cars in VA and never paid a "processing fee". The dealers are ALLOWED, but not REQUIRED. I can't stand dealing with people who lie for a buck. Avoid the used car internet section of this dealership. More
This is a nice, small family owned dealership without all of the hustle and bustle of a large dealership in the city. I contacted Mr. Williams after seeing a truck I was interested in on their website. We a of the hustle and bustle of a large dealership in the city. I contacted Mr. Williams after seeing a truck I was interested in on their website. We agreed on a day and time, and he was waiting for us when I showed up with my wife and daughter. At no point in time did I feel pressured to buy the vehicle. I explained to him that I was looking to get to a certain price point, and wouldn't be willing to go over that. Though I don't think that I got an amazing deal, I was happy... The truck fits our needs perfectly and I left there feeling good about the deal. I can't say that for every other time that I purchased a car. Anyway, Mr. Williams was great to work with. I will definitely look to Chrysler of Culpeper first when the time comes to purchase our next vehicle. More
I have not had a good experience with the town and country van we purchased. It has had multiple problems and has been very frustrating, however Martha has made the experience at least bearable. She country van we purchased. It has had multiple problems and has been very frustrating, however Martha has made the experience at least bearable. She was originally the service person and has been promoted to manager. The previous manager was not helpful and spoke down to me every time I had to deal with him. Martha has always been very professional and helpful. Now she has Josh in the service area that has also been very professional and helpful. If it was not for their help I would have probably traded in this van and moved to another dealership. While the issues with the van have not slowed down at least I know that when I call the service department I will get the best help they can give me.I would not recommend anyone buy a town and country at this time, however I Would recommend the service department without hesitation. I was taught to NEVER use dealerships for service... they cost too much. Why pay more when you can get the same service elsewhere for half the price? Josh, Martha and the service team at Chrysler has made cost too much. Why pay more when you can get the same service elsewhere for half the price? Josh, Martha and the service team at Chrysler has made me change my mind!! When I enter the bay, I am always greeted by Josh or Martha in a friendly way. They work with my warranty company so that I get the best coverage possible. They have always been truthful with me... letting me know what things *must* be fixed, vs. what can wait a little while. Recently, they recommended a transmission service. I cringed at the price (though when I researched it was an average price for a comprehensive transmission service). When I got my car back, it ran like a new car!!! Anyhow, I've always had great service here. There have been times when the service took a little long to complete, but I was able to get a rental car or a loaner. I would definitely recommend Chrysler of Culpeper for their honesty, integrity, and quality of service. More
Horrible. I have nothing good to say about my experience there. I went looking for a used vehicle they didnt have then they tried to sell me a car. I didnt want. I reluctantly too the test drive of the path there. I went looking for a used vehicle they didnt have then they tried to sell me a car. I didnt want. I reluctantly too the test drive of the pathfinder since I had never considered them before saying that there was no way I was going to buy that one with 70000 mi. So I was honest atleast. Later I went in to talk to Michael to "see what they could do for me." A compleat bone head could not comprehend that I just didnt want that high miles on a car I didnt really want and then swore up and down that they would sell it for 13000 which was better than a private party sale. This was during a reclaimed car sale so I don't know if this guy normally works tuere, but I. will never deal with this place again for anything. I left after Michael insulted me and then "what's it going to take for you to buy this car? Do I have to show you my old lady naked?" Just to see I checked Kelly Blue Book and "rock bottom price" yea in perfect condition it was 9800 on KBB. So yea you lost a customer for life. I later bought a 4 Runner within 20 min of first seeing it. Best car ive ever had!! If you respect yourself don't wast your time here, they deffinitly wont respect you. More
Lewis was very nice and informative. He had 3 different Dodge models for me to look at and drive. I drove the models I found most appealing and he provided lots of detailed information about the car I cho Dodge models for me to look at and drive. I drove the models I found most appealing and he provided lots of detailed information about the car I chose. I got to test drive it for an extended period (24 hours) and fell in love. I stopped here on the way to another dealer and saw the exact truck I was looking for. The sales person and manager were very friendly and kept there word even when they misquoted a price that was lower t exact truck I was looking for. The sales person and manager were very friendly and kept there word even when they misquoted a price that was lower then what they wanted. I felt like I had known them for years. They were great with our two young children. When my kids ran up and gave them a hug when we were leaving I knew this was a special dealership. Great service, great truck, great price. More
I had taken my 2007 Dodge Caliber to Culpeper Chrysler for a minor frontend repair that cost me 30 days without my vehicle, a new truck bumper (now a Caliber bumper; after refusing their poor workmanship) for a minor frontend repair that cost me 30 days without my vehicle, a new truck bumper (now a Caliber bumper; after refusing their poor workmanship), an engine that whines and does NOT change gears, per Brian- he stated that; "that type of vehicle 'DOES NOT CHANGE GEARS'" $4800.00, the car has a rattle under the engine- and they BREAK PARTS on vehicles for more money! Women, always take a MAN/Mechanic to Chrysler of Culpeper. If you voice yourself, and they must 'rework' -- listen to your car, it will tell you "whatelse was done by them." They will in turn answer- ma'am the only thing we done was what's on your insurance estimate. They smile, lie and give small talk to you with one intent "work your insurance company to the maximum, and asks you do you have the check, the insurance said they sent you the check". SHOTTY WORKSMANSHIP! A warranty does not apply if it's NOT on the original estimate. That was always my fear at Chysler of Culpeper Virginia and this is a TRUE STATEMENT -- NOW< I have engine failure and it's been 3days since I got my car from their service shop. My car ran smooth and a perfectly normal new car even with the front bumper minor crack -- NO GLASS SHATTERED NOR BROKEN BEFORE REPAIR TO THE BUMPER. YES I AM IRRATE and hope that no one will trust these creeps on a wimm!!! More
