I must say that my purchase at Jim Browne CDJR Tampa was one of the best experiences I ha and dealt with a lot of different dealers and sales people. I must say that my purchase at Jim Browne CDJR Tampa was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I think a lot is owed to the salesman I dealt with, CARLOS KNOWLES. I had never done this before, but I actually negotiated and bought a Grand Cherokee over the phone through CARLOS; the dealer is about 175 miles from my home. CARLOS is all about customer service and satisfaction. Through the whole process CARLOS and I really developed a great working relationship. John was attempting to sell me 4 tires, nevermind the other 3 lifespan is at 50%. I recommended to John to change jobs and change oil until he learn what he's trying to sell. Obviously he doesn't know. I wish people that are hired to be a service writer are experienced on what the mechanic is servicing and not trying to line their paycheck with what a computer says or saying hey you have a nail in your tire,,,,j think you should buy 5 More
I bought my vehicle from Jim Browne, a 2018 Dodge Durango. Jim Browne offers the lifetime power train warranty as long as you service the vehicle at their location or call in the service location. Anyway, this is where I go to get my vehicle serviced. Usually pretty smooth, in and out within an hour. Well not this time. I use a coupon when I go for oil/tire rotation $59.95. My wait surpassed 1.5 hours with not a single person checking up on me to tell me why. When I was finally called to checkout, the total was $114.00. I asked why it was so high and as the gentle man and I were going through all the items, another employee, Alexa Diaz, came over and tried to explain to me how the $114 was correct as if I was trying to get one over on Jim Browne. Mind you, she had no clue what service I got done, pulls out a calculator and starts to compute to show me how wrong I was to inquire and how the math made sense. I said “this doesn’t make sense” Alexa says “this is how it’s done sir.” As she goes through the itemized, she mentions “air filter 39.95” I said “I didn’t get an air filter” she again rebutted “well that’s the discrepancy sir.” Yeah well no kidding, if she hadn’t interjected the gentleman I was working with was sure to go over it if she waited another 14 seconds. She made me feel like I was not valued as a customer and that my option meant nothing. Meanwhile, she continuously yells at other employees, is rude as xxxx, and didn’t even apologies for her incorrect input. My guy eventually corrected it all, and I paid the correct price. It was not worth having to listen to Alexa Diaz go off on people. My guy was new and you could hear her say to him “figure it out yourself, I was gonna show you but forget it” “I said don’t forget to add the quart for 7.95, I already told you” More
