I had the team run a diagnostics to get the car running (issue with the air filter disintegrating ) aand since it was in the shop I asked them to repair the door latch which was not working due to the latching cable coming off. The repair for the air filter was to get two new air filters an replace a air duct. which was cracked after the connecting point ( not i the the air flow passage. $800.00 for the air duct. and to replace the air filters. the Air filters would take 2 - 3 days to get. Funny I went down to the Local Auto Zone and had them in my hands the very next day. I took them out to CVM and replaced them myself and drove off the lot. The door handle was never looked at however it would be an $800.00 part to be ordered and replaced. I ended up taking the car to a local mechanic to have door handle fixed $50.00 for Labor. I couple days later my car broke down again. I went Auto Zone and their diagnosis checked out to be an over heated engine. Cause most likely a Thermostat issue. I had the Thermostat replaced. $60.00 part and $150.00 Labor by my mechanic the same one who fixed my Door Handle. I guess I should be happy with the service at CVM, They saved me $1400 dollars by taking my car to be repaired some where else. Thanks For saving me money! More
