My husband and I purchased a used vehicle from Chevy of West less than 2 months ago. For starters, the salesmen were great during the purchase (but they just want the sale right?). The day after we picked it up there was a ding in the windshield. We have the windshield warranty in our purchase deal and notified our salesman that this happened. HE set up the time for us to bring the vehicle back in to have this looked at (and taken care of) along with a couple other things from the purchase. We left our car for 3 entire days, service still did nothing (on any of the issues). We stupidly picked up the car and set up another appointment, yet again. Then the freeze happened. Now that ding turned into a whole crack across the entire windshield. We brought it back in for the scheduled appointment and were told there was nothing they could do. NOTHING! Really? I don't understand how this was our fault/problem when this was known about right after purchase and prior to the freeze, and had multiple appointments WITH a glass warranty. What good is the warranty if you're not going to honor it when a problem is made aware? What would have been the difference had we left the car there past the 3 days and the crack happened on their lot? A question I still get no answer for. I don't believe this should be entirely on us as we haven't even had this car for 2 months and this has been discussed with multiple people, multiple times, in multiple departments. When I asked if there was a manager that the service advisor could speak to, he stated that he already had spoken with them and there was nothing that could be done. Not 10 minutes later when I spoke to our salesperson, I was informed that the service manager had been out all week. So who's being lied to and getting screwed?! This is such horrible customer service to a brand new customer that it puts the worst taste in my mouth and makes us not want to go back, as much as I hate to say that. I also emailed the dealership asking to hear from a MANAGER as to what can be done to help us with ANY part of this since this was something that WOULD have been covered had they gotten to it when they had it for 3 whole days, yet never did. I am currently awaiting a reply from them. This is by far the worst customer experience for service I have ever had. I am sending this to GM as well, as I feel this is NOT the best way to handle this situation, with a new purchase, a new or existing customer, and would like to try and make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. The lack of communication between departments is on an entirely different level of what I assume is completely nonexistent that sadly, your customers get to be on the receiving end of. The dealership treated me as a new customer and a new car purchaser terribly. I noticed a rattle in the rear of my new 2022 blazer I asked the if they would address. They said yes I can take the vehicle and purchaser terribly. I noticed a rattle in the rear of my new 2022 blazer I asked the if they would address. They said yes I can take the vehicle and bring it back I said ok I brought back they said it would take a few days. I said can I get a loaner they said we don’t do that. I showed great displeasure they reluctantly gave me a used one off the lot. They told me about a week. So I filled the tank with fuel got a call a day later saying it was sold bring it back. My wife did they have her a filthy bronco that wreaked of smoking inside. By the time she got home she had to use an inhaler and lay down. I call again complaining to the Gm. He tried to make it my fault for not telling them we’re allergic to smoke. Still no new blazer this went on for 30 days. With the loaner sitting in my driveway. I called and told them I was picking it up on 10-18-22. I had to wait an hour and it was ready. I wished I could post the pictures I took of when I picked it up. These people are crooks I don't see how they can sleep at night. They sold me a Chevrolet Colorado, haven't even put little over 5,000 miles on it. I got pieces falling off that they glued back on. Had a rear tire fall off which caused the rear axle to bend. This truck is literally falling apart on me. my grandpa, who raised me, and stepbrother were both on their deathbed and I wasn't in the right state of mind and they took advantage of that when I sign the papers. They knew exactly what they were doing and didn't care. If I would have been on the highway when that tire fell off I probably would have been dead right now. IS THAT THE KIND OF PEOPLE Y'ALL WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH? I wish I knew better now I'm stuck with it. More
