I was having a problem with my blower, didn't know whether motor was faulty or if the resister module was bad. I called and technician said I would not have to pay for a diagnostic charge, being as t whether motor was faulty or if the resister module was bad. I called and technician said I would not have to pay for a diagnostic charge, being as there was an extended ten year warranty on the resistor of my 2003 Silverado. So I made an appointment and brought my truck in only to be told I would have to pay a $120 diagnostic charge. I was not happy and would not have even gone if I would have know I had to pay this. Left the dealership and had the work done elsewhere. I got a call the next day from the service center saying I could bring it in at no charge. Too late!!! More
I own a 21' Lexington B+ RV. It is on a Chevrolet 3500 Express Van chasis. While on an RV trip to Alaska I had the Check Engine light come on 3 different occasions a week or two apart. I stopped by 3 diff Express Van chasis. While on an RV trip to Alaska I had the Check Engine light come on 3 different occasions a week or two apart. I stopped by 3 different Chevrolet dealerships to have the trouble investigated. All told be what the code was, reset the the system and said everything looks fine now. But each time the trouble would come back. This 4th time when the light came on we were back in Minnesota and were able to visit Village Chevrolet. They took the time to research the problem and discovered I had a bad seal on the gas cap. They replace it. It was still under the warranty. Also, they completed a "Know Your Vehicle" test and inspection on my van while there and provided me with a printout of the results. They inspected and or tested some 50 different items, and also topped off all the fluids. All this was done in a very friendly, timely and proffessional manor, and at no charge to me. I was very very impressed to say the least. I am 60 years old, have dealt with a number of different dealers and service garages over the years, and Village Chevrolet has moved to the very top of my list by a wide wide margin! More
As I was talking to the service rep for the work that needed to be done the phone rang. He picked it up and started to talk to that customer. I was there in front of him and he assumed that the caller wa needed to be done the phone rang. He picked it up and started to talk to that customer. I was there in front of him and he assumed that the caller was more important. At that point I walked over and started working with another service rep. I consider that to be very rude. Our 2011 Suburban was in for service work as we shopped for a second new vehicle. Service manager and staff were exceptionally accomodating. Brought my Impala in for service (head gasket leak). Was given a shuttle ride to work with virtually no delay. My car was still under the warranty period and the repair was going to take over a day to comp given a shuttle ride to work with virtually no delay. My car was still under the warranty period and the repair was going to take over a day to complete. The shuttle picked me up and they set me up in a free loaner car to carry me through the repair. Everything was explained to me on what they found and did to fix the problem. The smoothest visit to a service department that I have ever had. More

EASY service visit !!!! ' TERMS OF USE ' question below is so RIDICULOUS I came within half a hair of not responding to this review !! in fact, my visit was a 5 , but this paperwork is a (1) VERY BAD which I tell you is about to reflect on my grade on 'overall experience' More
