Not one person could do an oil change in 6 hours? Went to 112 and was taken in immediately as a walk in. More
April was a pleasure to deal with. Prompt call backs. Hard working and polite. The epitome of professional. Treated me like family. I’ll buy all my cars from her and Joe Cooper. Prompt call backs. I work in a dealership, and have never been treated worse than I was here. I went in because they had a dodge Durango on their website i was interested in. Salesman let me test drive it, put down a $300 depo than I was here. I went in because they had a dodge Durango on their website i was interested in. Salesman let me test drive it, put down a $300 deposit on it, and then two days later texted me and said Never mind, we decided to wholesale the car bc it needs too much work. (PS it was on their website for a month at this point). I said okay no problem please refund me my $300. After 5 days of no activity on my credit card I went down and asked for a manager. Manager said oh we definitely did it for you but let me call accounting to double check. Accounting says no we never did the refund because we are missing the expiration date on the card (which was BS bc I sent a picture of my card but just the numbers, so if they had the card number they obviously had my expiration date as well.) I was told the refund would be done by the end of the day and I angrily left. After returning to my own dealership and speaking with accounting, they said you should have requested a paper receipt saying they did the refund. So I called, asked for the same manager I had spoken to, and requested a paper receipt stating i had gotten my refund be e-mailed to me, to which he replied " I don't appreciate what you are insinuating! You're acting like we are trying to steal your money!" to which i replied, sir I just want proof that my refund is being done. He then starts to say I saw you were wearing your work shirt here what department do you work for this is absolutely unprofessional of you. (LIKE EXCUSE ME??????) After I hung up with the manager, the original salesman texts me and asks what my problem is bc he was called up to see his manager, and proceeds to tell me the refund was processed the original day he texted me (WHICH WAS ALREADY PROVEN TO BE A LIE). I called my fiancé completely upset, so he calls and asks for the same manager. This man APOLOGIZES to my MALE fiancé saying how the salesman was unprofessional and how he will personally make sure the refund gets done and sent to my email. (which it did that evening around 630pm). But what a chauvinistic person. More
Do not buy or trade a vehicle with Chevrolet of Smithtown. We agreed on a price for a new truck and a price for my trade in. I was told that the vehicle would arrive in 6 weeks. However, in order Smithtown. We agreed on a price for a new truck and a price for my trade in. I was told that the vehicle would arrive in 6 weeks. However, in order to get the agreed on price, I had to give up the trade in vehicle that week. ONE YEAR LATER, after several visits and being told that the price would not change (by Monica Miller and Bill Comer), I was told that they may have a vehicle for me with less options at a much higher price. They offered me no options but to buy the vehicle at their new price. I currently have Consumer Affairs working on an investigation into their dishonesty. DO NOT BUY or LEASE A VEHICLE FROM THEM!!!!!!! They never return phone calls and they lied to me many times over the course of one year. The whole experience with them was terrible! More
Good luck getting a call back from the service department. I had this issue purchasing my extended warranty and I’m having the same issue canceling the warranty. I ended up dealing with the warran department. I had this issue purchasing my extended warranty and I’m having the same issue canceling the warranty. I ended up dealing with the warranty company myself due to the fact that Rob doesn’t feel it necessary to return a phone call. More
I traded in my leased PHEV Hyundai for a 2021 Silverado in Oct 2021. I was told that they would pay off my lease as a part of the lease agreement on the Silverado. However, what happened after proved other in Oct 2021. I was told that they would pay off my lease as a part of the lease agreement on the Silverado. However, what happened after proved otherwise. I forgot to turn off autopay on the Hyundai & reached out to the dealership stating that I was still being charged monthly payments for the Hyundai. I was told they would investigate what happened. I continued to receive calls from Hyundai about missed payments on my lease & explained to them that I traded in the vehicle to Chevy of Smithtown. I contacted the salesperson several times over the months of Nov & Dec to get this taken care of. I was told that the check was written but was never given the date or check number to follow up with Hyundai. On another occasion, I was told that the woman who handles that is out with COVID. On a different call, I was told that the car was given to their Hyundai dealership & that the check was never actually written out. At the end of Dec, I received a notice from Hyundai that I was in collections, delinquent on my account, and in breach of the lease agreement. I AGAIN immediately contacted the salesperson that I had been dealing with, who said that the check was cut and that I would get the information on the payment to send to Hyundai. I had enough and went straight to the dealership the morning of 1/18/22. I spoke with the Sales Manager, Bill Comer, who said that they do not cut checks & that car was grounded 3 weeks ago. He admitted fault and said that they would do what they could to help with the Hyundai. That soon became an empty promise. He stated that he could not contact Hyundai and I would have to take care of it myself. I called Hyundai and they stated that the car was ONLY grounded the day before on 1/17/22, not 3 weeks ago like Bill said. I called Bill with the payoff total and was told it would be paid off immediately. As of today 1/19/2022, the Hyundai STILL is not paid off, & my credit took a HUGE HIT. More
