I’ve been coming to this dealership for years and have always had great experiences, which makes this visit especially disappointing. The dealership itself is great, but the gentleman who assisted me this always had great experiences, which makes this visit especially disappointing. The dealership itself is great, but the gentleman who assisted me this time was not. He is an older gentleman with glasses, was breathing abnormally heavy and was completely unhelpful. I wish i remembered his name. He lost the keys to my vehicle and then gave me someone else’s keys to a similar Traverse, which caused a lot of unnecessary confusion and stress. After going home and waiting for what was supposed to be an inspection and oil change, I received a call to come pick up my truck—only to find out that the work wasn’t even completed. It was a complete mess and a huge waste of time. This was an extremely frustrating experience and made for a terrible day at a dealership I normally trust and recommend. This guy I plan to avoid at all costs as he did not have a clue to what he was doing. More
BUYERS BEWARE A pack of incapable vultures . I recommend going with any other dealership. Watch out for the 1700 in hidden fees they hide in the small print... This review is soley in reference to my dealings with finance department and the insane experience i had to get my money back for a cancelation of a extended warranty..to get right into my story I had pu finance department and the insane experience i had to get my money back for a cancelation of a extended warranty..to get right into my story I had purchased a extended warranty for my new car at time of signing paperwork with finance department and after sleeping on it I immediately (next day)change my mind and cancel warranty..well it is 6 months today and I finally got MOST of my money back..throughout the 6 months there were countless of phonecalls/emails to finance dept and constantly obstacles why it took 6 months to get a refund..on topog waiting 6.months i was told that I wasn't able to get my taxes back because I not them had to fight with ny state to get it back..on top of all that dealership/ management had the nerve to charge me a 50.00 cancelation fee..I have been a customer for 20 years and bought multiple cars and this will be my last time working with chevorlet of smithtown.management and dealership have totaly declined since the 1st time i bought a car from them..I highly suggest look to give your business elsewhere and a little adviced I also learned u do not have to buy warranty directly from purchasing dealership u can go shop prices around throughout the country and pay their state tax More
